Call of the Vampire Ch. 01

"Our first order of business should be to clean up in the bath-house. While we have been here, my slaves have been furnishing your room. I will show you where it is and we shall check on their progress. Then we shall make sure your little whore gets a collar. We can't have her running around this castle without one of those. Also we must get you some clothes, if you want to wear them, that is..." Celestine pushed opened the door and began to walk down the torch lined halls of castle Plaisir, not even looking behind her to see if Julien was actually following.

Luckily for her, he was, pulling Fiona along by her chain, though his thoughts were not very focused on what Celestine was saying.

'Truly I have arrived at paradise on earth.' He though, taking a last glance at the imposing statue of Sanguia before leaving the ritual chamber behind. As he followed Celestine and dragged his slave along, he began to smile wickedly, his thoughts then turning to what the future held. 'I bet that there are dark pleasures here that I can't even begin to imagine. Will these vampires share them with me, or will I have to discover them myself? I suppose it doesn't matter. I have all of eternity to do so now and who knows what I will find? This is all just getting started.'

Celestine continuing to speak, though her thoughts were now conflicted as only one thing was truly on her mind. 'I suppose I will let Adamar know that my mission was a success.' She thought to herself. 'The prince doesn't seem to suspect a thing, but is using him as a pawn really the best thing for our cult?' She liked him. As much as she did not want to admit it to herself, she did. Celestine had never before questioned Adamar's judgement, but this time she felt that she was not so sure.
