Calm Before The Storm Ch. 01

Laura did not tell Jenna that it was more common for the woman to have an orgasm during forced sex in date-rape situations, but she wasn't lying that it did happen, and usually did add to the shame a woman felt in being sexually violated.

"Was this with the other men, or just when they made Gor-don be with you?" Laura asked.

"With Gor-don..." Jenna mumbled, "... but... there was another man... I didn't come when the other guys beat me while raping me, but this guy... he just... fucked me, as if he didn't want to hurt me... the same way Gor-don did me... that guy had a bigger... thing... than the others, and... well I remember coming with him, even though I was half out of it..." Jenna began sobbing again.

"It's okay." Laura said. "It's okay. You got it out, and now we can work on it. Let everything out, there's nothing for you to feel shame about."

"But with men?" Jenna said. "I... I feel like I've betrayed Cindy and all the other lesbian women out there. I'm one of them..."

"No, you''re not betraying anyone. Look, here's something else for you to know." Laura said. "Eighty percent of all lesbian women... are actually bisexual. Many of the breakups between lesbians is when one of the women begins a relationship with a man. What you're feeling is not uncommon. You've been having sex with Gor-don, and when you were kidnapped and helpless, your subconscious decided your body could have an orgasm in spite of the situation, possibly because of it. The danger you were in subconsciously added to it, as well."

"Did this come from your research?" asked Jenna.

"From mine, and others." Laura said. She did not mention the extensive work she and others had done on behalf of the CIA, to understand rape as part of torture, as something female agents (and males, for that matter) might be subjected to. She did not mention the program that female CIA agents endured before going out on missions into the field... training that including the repeated violation of the woman's body as well as her mind.

"So now that this is out, Jenna," Laura said, "we can really bring everything forward and out in the open, at least between you and me. Including your relationship with Cindy, which you are now questioning."

"Oh my God, how did you know?--" Jenna replied, before realizing that she was in the company of a psychiatrist, but not realizing that it was Laura's husband who'd made observations and inferences, and passed those along...
