Circumstances, Regret, Reunion Ch. 05

June flew by, and though separated by half a country, they shopped for and finally settled on the purchase of a farm in central North Carolina, within easy driving distance of UNC and Duke medical schools and hospitals. She finalized an official alliance with both schools in early July, and during that month leased the office space for her to move into.

Steve got unexpected help from Frank Whalen in the form of three office parks, one in Durham, one in Research Triangle, and one in Chapel Hill. Frank was already partners in ownership for all three, (Something Steve had no idea about) and Frank arranged for Steve to take over and general manager of all three properties. By the end of July, Steve's path was set as to his work upon relocation.

The only setback was in Early August when Steve's mother was in a minor car accident, but had a fall and hit her head after it was over and she was giving a statement to the responding police officer. She suffered a concussion, but made a full recovery.

At the end of August, Steve turned 52. Amy flew down and spent a week with him. Most of that was driving between Richmond and Chapel Hill North Carolina for meetings and finalizations of leases and such. They also closed on the farm right after his birthday, then spent a long weekend in a cabin rental in the mountains. They took a few scenic drives, but spent most of the four days entwined in each other in bed, the hot tub, or the couch. They also tried out some bondage that weekend. Amy found she liked being under his total control while bound in ropes and leather, and found that she actually orgasmed when he removed the ball gag she was wearing, and fucked her mouth while she was hogtied, though he was not stimulating her at all.

Mother and baby did fine, and they soon settled into a home in the countryside near Washington, as her now Captain Husband, began his Marine duties at the Pentagon.

Steve and Amy moved in together on the farm in North Carolina in October, and they married in Early November, in Richmond.

His son was the best man. The wedding was simple, with just close family and friends there. Their first Christmas as husband and wife was spent on their new farm, with his children present. At that time, Steve's son announced his own impending nuptials to a girl from Nebraska where he was stationed in the Air Force.

And the start to their happily ever after was complete. Their circumstances now were never better, and after each union of their bodies, as they gathered their thoughts after coming, the only regret they felt was that they did not get to share all of the last thirty years together.

We may drop in again from time to time on Steve and Amy Briggs, as they carry on their adventure together.
