The class with Chloe after lunch that day had been pure torture. She sat there, engrossed in her textbook, oblivious to the fact that he found her irresistible. Chloe's bangs swept across her eye because her head was down and she was so focused that she didn't even bother to move them. Steven badly wanted to talk to her, to hear that sweet voice speak again, but didn't know what to say to her. The class was just about over, so he was running out of time to think of something.

Steven knew he would have to get over his fear of teaching in front of her; he knew she would be eager to learn what he taught, but for some reason, he just felt apprehensive. Because of that fear, he had assigned the class to finish reading and outlining chapter one of their text, and she had worked diligently to complete the assignment during the class. He finally decided the best way to approach her would be to discuss something neutral.

Finally, the clock ticked to 2:30, signaling the end of the class.

"Alright guys, you can put your stuff away. Did anyone have any questions about the first chapter? Or need any help with it at all?"

Nobody in the classroom spoke, so Steven took that as his sign that everyone understood the material.

"We will discuss all the information in the chapter in tomorrow's lecture, so if you didn't finish reading it all today, please make sure and do so by tomorrow afternoon's class. I'll be asking random questions to make sure everyone did their reading, so you'll embarrass yourself if you don't do the assignment!"

The class chuckled, knowing he was joking with them.

"Okay, get out of my classroom! See you guys tomorrow."

The class gathered their things quickly and left, but Chloe took her time getting her books together. Steven wondered if she did that on purpose so that they would be alone.

"How are you feeling about that first chapter, Chloe?"

"Oh, it's pretty easy! Very basic, I don't think I'll be needing help for it. I'll save my pestering for when things get a bit more complicated hahaha!"

Smiling, Steven replied, "You won't pester me, I'm always here to help when you need it. Some of the information in the later chapters is little harder to grasp."

"I'm sure I'll need help when we get to that stuff. I'm afraid I'm a bit of a slow learner, but I retain information well once I get the hang of it."

"Don't worry, everyone learns at their own speed. This course isn't an easy one, but it sets the foundation for the rest of the things you will learn throughout your program, so it's very important to make sure you understand all the information given."

"That's a little intimidating!" Chloe laughed.

"You'll do fine, I don't let my students fail this course." He placed a hand on her shoulder, lighting her skin on fire with just a slight touch. "I'll work with you to make sure you have a good handle on everything. As a class, we will cover the book pretty slow, about one chapter a week. That helps immensely. Just let me know if you need any help."

"Thanks Dr. Johnson. See you tomorrow."

Steven watched as she turned and walked out of the classroom, her bookbag slung over her shoulder.

All he could think after she had left the classroom was how bad he wanted her, to know her in every aspect of the word.

Steven was now at home, getting dressed to go and have dinner with Meredith. "Tonight's the night," he thought to himself. "It's time to do the right thing with Meredith."

***************

Chloe's jaw dropped as Noah asked her to marry him. She was completely shocked; she wasn't expecting him to propose already.

"Oh, my gosh...", she stammered, "Um, I wasn't expecting that--"

"I know, I shouldn't have blind-sighted you, it's just that, well, I have thought about this a lot and I know that you are the perfect woman for me. I just can't imagine spending my life with anyone else but you", Noah interrupted. "I knew from the second I met you that you were different and we have so much potential together, our lives together would be so wonderful. You're the one I have been waiting for."

He pulled the ring out of the box and positioned himself to slide it on her finger. Chloe outstretched her hand and let him slide the ring on before she jumped out of the chair and ran to his side of the table, hugging him and crying.

"Of course I'll marry you, Noah!!"

The whole restaurant burst into applause and congratulations. She had tears in her eyes and was grinning from ear to ear, as was Noah. They shared in a blissful kiss, Noah's hand slipping softly behind Chloe's neck, drawing her face closer to his. He softly placed his lips on hers, grazing the smooth skin on her neck with his hand. She parted her lips to allow his tongue in her mouth, sliding over hers gently. She kissed him back hungrily, a familiar throbbing sensation between her legs becoming more evident as the kiss progressed.

Finally, the newly engaged couple emerged from the kiss. Chloe walked back over to her side of the table and sat down, putting her hand in front of her face too admire how beautiful the ring was on her finger. It was a dream engagement ring, the most beautiful she had ever seen.

The waiter returned to the table and asked the couple if they would like any dessert.

"Chocolate!" Chloe exclaimed.

The waiter chuckled at her response and walked away to get the dessert.

"I want to set a date, I don't want to wait to marry you. No more than 6 months away," Noah said.

"6 months?! That's so fast! I don't know how I can plan a wedding and go to school, honey."

"We'll hire a wedding planner then, don't worry. Just find someone you like and have them help, I don't care what it costs. I want you to have your dream day."

"Are you sure? Wedding planners aren't cheap and neither is a wedding. Maybe we should wait until I finish school and then we can really have a great wedding."

"No, I want to marry you now. If it was up to me, I would march you down to the courthouse tomorrow. But I know how important it is for you to have your whole family there. I know you want the wedding you have always dreamed about."

"Okay, if that's what you want, then we will make it work. I'll start tomorrow. And we can pick a date tonight when we get home. Sometime before the winter weather hits bad. Or a little after would be fine, too."

The waiter returned to the table with Chloe's chocolate dessert and two spoons. He placed the dessert in the middle of the table and handed them both a spoon.

"Oh, wow, that looks amazing. We're having all chocolate at our wedding by the way."

Noah laughed and grabbed a spoon to dig into the chocolate pie. They quickly devoured the dessert and looked at the bill the waiter had left, only to discover the entire meal had been paid by the management. "Congratulations" was scrolled across the bottom of the receipt, followed by "Your meal is on the house."

Chloe laughed and said, "Wow, maybe we should get engaged more often!"

She and Noah slipped out of their chairs and walked out of the restaurant to the car.

"Let's go to your place, Chloe, I think we have a little something to take care of that's long overdue."

"My, my, what could that be?", Chloe replied sarcastically.

The couple headed to Chloe's townhouse for a long night of love making.

******************

Steven and Meredith had gone to dinner at their favorite italian restaurant and when they left, they were stuffed and completely satisfied with their meal.

"Wow, that place is always amazing!"

"Yeah, it was, good idea, honey."

"Thanks."

Steven nodded and opened the car door for her, let her get in, and then shut the door. He climbed in to the driver's seat and drove them to his place.

"I think we should take the "exploring new things" mantra with us somewhere else tonight," Meredith said.

"What exactly do you have in mind?!" Steven replied, slightly surprised that she had said that.

"Oh, I don't know...you're the one always wanting to experiment. You always have ideas."

"Oh yes, I have a few in mind. I just know you aren't always comfortable with trying that stuff and I don't want to force you into anything."

"You won't, don't worry."

They pulled up to the house shortly after that and walked inside together. Meredith set her purse down and walked over to Steven. She had instinctively felt that something was wrong all night but wasn't sure what the problem was.

"Meredith, I think we need to talk."

"I have something I want to talk to you about too, but what's on your mind?"

"You go first."

"Okay. I just really feel like here lately we have gotten distant from each other and I hate that. I wish things could be like they used to. Do you feel like that, too?"

"Yeah, that's actually what I wanted to talk to you about, too." Steven's heart was beating a million times a minute. Was this really what he wanted? Meredith's nervousness was apparent, too. She seemed a little shaky.

"I want to fix it. I know I haven't always been good about giving you the things you need; I know you need excitement and adventure and I haven't been giving you that for pretty much this entire relationship. Things could be so much better for us and I want to show you how experimental I can be; I want to explore new things with you because it's what you want me to do. I don't want to lose you."

"Meredith, I don't know what to say. I think it's been pretty obvious how miserable I have been in this relationship in the past months. I'm not the easiest person to please; I have things I want to do and experiment with and I just don't feel like that's what you really want to do. You say you do, but I think if it was what you really wanted, you wouldn't have to try so hard. If our relationship was really meant to be, neither one of us would have to completely change who we are."

A tear rolled down Meredith's cheek, followed quickly by another. She reached up a hand to wipe them away and sniffled. Steven had always hated to make her cry; she was beautiful and there was something so innocent about her that just made him feel awful about it every time. Meredith was a terrific person, she just wasn't the right one for him.

"What are you saying, Steven?"

"That it won't work."

"So you think it's too late? You don't want to try and fix it?"

"I just don't think either of us would be happy, Meredith. You would constantly be doing things you didn't want to and that would make me feel guilty. It just wouldn't work."

"Please don't do this. Please. You're my entire life. Everything I have is centered around you. I don't know what I'll do." She half-said, half-sobbed the words. Her heart was breaking; she knew begging wouldn't do her any good, but he meant everything to her. She honestly didn't think she could live without him.

"I'm sorry, I really am. It's just not meant to be with us. You'll meet someone else who will make you happy and you won't have to change who you are to be with them. That's what you deserve. You deserve someone better than me, someone who won't tell you the things you do aren't good enough. Hell, Meredith, you haven't even met any of my family! We both knew this wouldn't work."

"Steven, please! Please give it a chance. I swear it'll be different. I'll make you happy, that's what I want to do. I love you with all my heart. I didn't try hard enough, I didn't do the things I should have!!" Meredith was sobbing now and Steven was barely able to make sense of what she was saying. Her eyes searched his, looked deeply to see if there was still an ounce of love for her, pleading with him not to do this.

"I'm sorry," Steven said, barely above a whisper. "I just can't do this anymore. I don't have it in me."

With that, Meredith turned quickly and grabbed her purse, digging in it frantically for her keys. She had to get out of there, now. All she thought was, "How could you be so stupid? Why did you let this go on so long?" She knew deep down he was right, but it hurt so much. They had been together for such a long time. All that time, just wasted. All for nothing.

She finally found her keys and practically ran to her car, just wanting to get away from him, from his house, from everything that would remind her of him. She couldn't help but think that he didn't even care about her half as much as she cared about him. The way he just sat there and showed no emotion at all, he didn't try to stop her, didn't try to work things out. She knew this was the best thing for both of them, that they could never work things out, but knew he would always have a place in her heart.

Meredith got in her vehicle and backed out of Steven's driveway, her tires screeching. She jammed the gearshift out of reverse and into drive and pushed her foot against the gas pedal. Her car zoomed into action, scooting down the street, away from Steven, away from that conversation, away from the worst night of her life. She lived 10 short minutes from his house, but it felt like the longest drive she had ever taken. Tears streamed down her face at lightening speed, but she drove quickly, too quickly, and she didn't see the red light until it was too late.

************************ Chloe and Noah pulled up in front of her townhouse, both unable to contain themselves with the excitement from the events of the night. Chloe felt the excitement growing; getting married in about 6 months was the last thing she expected to be planning for. It had always been her plan to have a wedding in the autumn months, that was her favorite time of year. All the leaves changing color and the giving spirit in the air; it was difficult to describe, but she felt that season showed the entire nation at it's best.

Noah followed her into the townhouse, practically ripping her clothes off in the process. She hadn't really seen this side of him before and it was pleasantly surprising. As soon as the door was shut, he pulled her into his arms, kissing her passionately and unbuttoning her blouse. He quickly got the shirt off and moved to her bra, unfastening the hook and allowing those beautiful breasts to spill out into his hands. He caressed the soft skin there, rubbing his thumbs over her pebbled nipples.

He slowly kissed his way down her chest to her breasts and tongued her nipples, making her moan aloud. Moisture pooled between her legs, demonstrating her need for him. Noah drove her back against the wall, unbuttoning her pants simultaneously. He kissed her hungrily, his mouth overtaking hers with such passion that she was immediately turned on. She reached up and began unbuttoning his shirt quickly, the urge to see his naked body overtaking her.

Chloe first removed his shirts and then moved to his pants, yanking them down fervently. Noah rarely wore underwear, making it easy access to his rock hard penis. She wrapped a soft hand around him and began stroking. He groaned, a deep animal sound, as she played with him. Noah was determined that this evening would be all about Chloe and the satisfaction he hadn't been giving her. He was determined to make up for it all night long.

He lifted her thin body and carried her to the bedroom, placing her on the edge of the bed so that he would have access to do what he most desired. He loved the way she tasted, loved to please her with his mouth. Knowing what was coming, she placed her feet on the edge of the bed to allow him room. Noah squatted before her, tentatively licking up and down her slit a few times to lubricate her. Then, Chloe felt his tongue enter her and cried out Noah's name at the wonderful feeling.

His tongue slid up to her clitoris, pushing with just enough pressure to stimulate her. He pulsed his tongue there, bringing her tantalizingly close to an orgasm before moving his tongue away. He moved back down to her pussy, pushing his tongue back inside her tight pinkness. Her hips rose off the bed, helping him tongue fuck her. He began to taste her juices and knew she was close to an orgasm, so he moved back to her clit, alternating between sucking and licking until the first waves of orgasm washed over her. He took her clitoris in his mouth and sucked gently, making her orgasm even more explosive.

Once her orgasm subsided, Chloe scooted up onto the bed, eager to fuck Noah.

"Baby, I need that hard cock inside me," Chloe said.

Happy to oblige, Noah crawled up to her on the bed and began kissing her, turning them both on again. His dick was rock hard again, so he placed it at Meredith's opening. He pushed gently until the head popped in, and slowly pushed until he was completely inside her.

"You feel so good, Noah. Mmmm...fuck me, baby."

He pounded that tight pussy, fucking her hard. Chloe moaned aloud, eager to let him know he was pleasing her. She slipped her smooth legs up and over his shoulders, giving him full access to fuck her deeper.

"Give me that whole cock, I want it all."

He pushed his whole dick into her again, as deep as he could go. She moaned with pleasure and pushed back against him, strengthening the sensation. Noah slowed his pace, pulling his cock almost completely out of her and slowly sliding it back in, until Chloe couldn't take it anymore.

"Fuck my pussy, Noah, make me cum!" Noah began thrusting faster again, pounding her like she wanted. "Oh, that's it, right there. Oh, gosh, Noah. Don't stop, god, please, fuck me." Noah could feel her pussy muscles tightening around him erractically and knew she was about to cum.

"God, Noah, I'm gonna cum!" She bucked up against him as the orgasm overtook her, surging through her entire body. "I'm cumming Noah, please don't stop!" She felt her body shake as she came, and the whole room delved into darkness for a few moments. Noah continued to slowly fuck her until the orgasm had passed and she returned to reality. Her breathing slowly returned to normal.

"That was amazing, best I've ever had, Noah."

"Good, sweetheart. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Even more glad I get to do this for you for the rest of our lives."

"Me, too."

Noah laid on top of Chloe and gently kissed her, waiting until she recovered enough to have him again.

************************

"Miss? Miss? Are you alright?"

Meredith awoke to the sound of someone speaking to her. She didn't immediately know where she was and she couldn't see because everything was still blurry.

"Where am I? Who are you?" She tried to lift her head and felt a shooting pain all through her body. "What happened?"

"Well, I guess you didn't see that red light, I couldn't stop in time and hit you in the driver's door. Can you move your legs?"

Meredith tried to wiggle her feet; the left she could move but the right she couldn't, it hurt too bad.

"N-no, I think my right leg is broken. It really hurts."

"You look pretty bad but I already called 911." With that said, they both heard sirens faintly. "My name is Jack, what's yours?"

"I um, I-I don't know."

"Okay, don't worry, you probably just have temporary amnesia from the crash. Your head is pretty banged up, you must have hit it pretty hard. Do you know where you were going?"

"No, I don't remember."

"Okay, don't worry, I'll make sure everything's okay."

"Thank you," Meredith replied. She didn't feel like much of a conversationalist at the moment; in fact, all she wanted to do was go to sleep.

"Of course. Do you hear the sirens? The ambulance will be here any second." Jack noticed Meredith's eyelids becoming heavy and knew he had to keep her awake. He suspected she had a concussion from hitting her head so hard. "I need you to keep talking to me, sweetheart. You need to stay awake to talk to the paramedics when they get here." He didn't want to tell her how she looked or what he thought was wrong because he knew it would only make her panic.

"I'll try." Meredith could see better now and noticed that Jack himself didn't look so good. He had cuts all over his body, from what she could see, and his left arm was twisted at a weird angle.
