Click here"Okay, I guess we can do that if you want to Stacy. Tell them to be inside their homes at twelve noon EST tomorrow and to keep their pets close by. On a leash or in a travel cage would be best but not necessary as long as the pets are close to them. If they have other things they want to take with them, pictures, family heirlooms, or anything else, tell them to pile it all in one room then just sit or stand next to it. The same goes for homeless people. If they're close to their things they'll go with them. If people aren't inside their homes when moving time comes, they'll still be moved but nothing will go with them. Make it perfectly clear that anything left behind is gone forever."
"Do you have an accurate count of the number of homeless families and others living in the streets," Aphrodite asked.
"I tend to doubt it," Bob replied. "I don't think there's a government anywhere on Cailin that's efficient enough to do it right. Destiny, Life, and The Boss have already got that part covered for me though. I'm taking Cailin with me when I meet up with The Boss. With everything Cailin's got stored in her pretty little head and what my sisters and The Boss are putting together we won't miss anyone. The actual moving day team will consist of me, Cassandra, Cailin, Kadir, Selena, The Boss, and my sisters Destiny and Life. Between all of us I think we've got all the bases covered."
When the meeting ended a couple of hours later, Bob was positive that every aspect of "moving day" had been fully explored and all options considered. He led everyone to the "war room" where Stacy held a short press conference and made the announcement about "moving day", after that they went down to the beach and enjoyed the rest of the day.

Moving Day Begins
Moving day had finally arrived and along with it came all the headaches, hassles, aggravation, problems, and complaints that one would expect from such a massive undertaking. Despite the fact that Amanda and her governors had done a fantastic job preparing the way, there were those that would ALWAYS find SOMETHING to complain about. The multi-billionaires born with a silver spoon in their mouths and used to sitting on solid gold toilets were disgusted with their accommodations. Then there were those families that had struggled, scrimped, and saved to buy their first home. They weren't happy about having to start all over again. Some of the formerly homeless people had grown so used to struggling to survive in the streets that while they weren't complaining, they had no idea what to do now that they actually had a place to call home.
As part of the moving process, everyone was basically given a new lease on life. No matter what their previous medical condition, everyone arrived at their new homes perfectly healthy with no mental or physical ailments. Even missing body parts such as arms, legs and eyes were restored. All body clocks were turned back and nobody looked or felt a day over twenty five. Each person was given full immunity to all sicknesses, ailments, and diseases.
Those that were in school were assigned to an equivalent school on their new home planet and Cailin had taken it upon herself to assign everyone else a work site to start out from. Bob had a good laugh when he realized that Cailin actually had a quirky sense of humor. It seemed the richer a person was, the dirtier the job they were assigned to. Cailin told Bob that she felt that even the ultra-rich needed to learn how to actually work for a living, having to take the silver spoons out of their mouths and use them to shovel cow shit might just teach them how everybody else lived. Cailin had staggered work schedules so that nobody was expected to work more than a forty hour work week. However, everybody had to work their assigned jobs for the first year. After that, they were free to seek other employment if it was available. Needless to say, some people weren't happy about it. But when they were told that if they didn't work at their assigned jobs, the ten thousand credits they were issued to start out with would be frozen and that they wouldn't be allowed to earn credits any other way, they bitched and moaned about it but did their assigned jobs anyway.

Shit Hits the Fan:
Amanda was receiving her morning briefing from her staff and her aides when an emergency call came from Paul Edwards, one of Governor Tamar's top aides on Cailin. He was so upset that it took Amanda several minutes to calm him down enough for her to understand what he was trying to tell her.
Once Paul had finally calmed down Amanda said, "All right Paul, I'm here to help. Stay calm and tell me what's going on."
"I'm sorry Madame President. I'm not usually this excitable. But I've never seen anything like this before. We were having our morning briefing with Governor Tamar when suddenly she just disappeared into thin air along with her staff and some of her aides."
"What do you mean by they just disappeared into thin air? You're not making any sense Paul."
"That's just it, Madame President. None of it makes any sense. We were going over progress reports when there was this bright blinding flash of light. When our eyes cleared, Governor Tamar, her Secretary of finance Antonia, her Secretary of Environmental affairs Alika, her Secretary of Civil Engineering Shelby, her Secretary of Education Sarah along with all of their mothers and two of their grandmothers had disappeared. Their GPS locators don't show them as being anywhere on Cailin. We have no idea where they are or exactly what happened."
"Okay Paul. We've all seen some pretty amazing things happen. So I'm gonna take you at your word. I'll notify the Guardian and we'll take whatever steps are necessary to locate Governor Tamar and her staff. But if this is some kind of a practical joke, neither he nor I will find it very funny." Amanda turned to Nicole, "Nikki, I'm declaring a state of emergency. Go to the situation room and contact all the other governors. Tell them I want anyone with Atlantian blood to report here to Neuveia NOW! I've got a really bad feeling about this so don't take any shit."
"You've got, Mandy," Nicole replied over her shoulder as she ran to the situation room.
Amanda hit the number one on her cell phone, her speed dial directly to Bob. When he answered she said, "Guardian, we have a situation!" She explained everything to Bob including that she had already declared a state of emergency and that she had ordered everyone with Atlantian blood to report to Neuveia immediately.
When Amanda finished speaking Bob said, "Well done Amanda! You did everything right! But I've got a really bad feeling about this too. Contact me from your situation room when you've got everybody together. I'll be in my war room."
Bob turned to Cassandra as they went to the war room and said, "As of right now I'm moving us to DEF-CON 2. We'll stay that way until we've got this thing figured out. Send your security and emergency teams to Tranquility City. Their only mission is to insure the safety of all the Atlantians and their families. Next send a Titanide to every one of the other planets. Their mission is to place an impenetrable defensive shield around each planet. After that, button up Neuveia tighter than a drum. No one in or out without my express authorization. I'm gonna leave the portal between Cailin and Neuveia open for now so that I can take a small team and investigate this shit without disturbing the defensive shields around them. Other than that, I'm shutting down all the other portals until we know what's going on. Your mission is to protect and defend Neuveia until I get back. Keep double shielding up around her and don't be afraid to wipe out anyone that may show up. Kill first and ask questions later."
Cassandra wasn't the least bit surprised by Bob's orders. Her instincts told her that Tamar and the others had been kidnapped. Whoever the culprits were, they had committed an overt act of war against the Neuveian Federation. But beyond that, the women who had been kidnapped weren't just her subjects. They were her sisters and her friends! Cassandra was absolutely livid! She turned to Bob and in a quiet measured voice that would scare the living shit out of any sane being said, "Understood Guardian. But I want you to know, My Love, when we catch up with whoever did this, and we will catch them, they had better give their souls to whatever god they pray to because their asses belong to me! I'm gonna have Selena create one of those wood chipper thingies that Cailin had Kadir make. Then I'm gonna throw them in it feet first while they're still living. After that, I'm gonna stuff the pieces in sacks and send them back where they came from."
"I understand how you feel, Sweetie. But right now I need you to stay calm and focused. Lives are at stake and I'm depending on you to protect them until I get back. I'm gonna let Amanda know what's going on then I'm out of here for a little while."
When Bob gave Athena a slight nod, she fired up the main viewscreen. Amanda was already in her situation room waiting. She looked at Bob and said, "All present and accounted for Guardian."
"Good job, Amanda!" he went on to explain everything to her then said, "Don't worry Amanda, we'll keep you all safe. Security teams should be there any second and Cassandra will be right behind them. Just stay where you are and follow orders until I get back."
"Understood Guardian," Amanda replied. Her eyes flashed with anger as she continued, "My sisters and I will ALWAYS follow your orders. But right about now, our personal safety is the least of our concerns. Five of our sisters and their families are missing. They've been taken in what can only be described as a hostile manner by an unknown enemy. As President of the Neuveian Federation, I consider this to be an act of war. It frustrates me to no end that I don't have the necessary offensive resources to track the culprits down and deliver the punishment they so richly deserve."
"Trust me Amanda, I understand how you feel. I really do. I'm angry too. But now is not the time to go off half cocked. We don't know what we're dealing with here. Just who is the enemy? Where are they? What are their military capabilities? What assets do we have to counter theirs? Can we engage them without getting Tamar and the others killed? I'm not willing to put their lives at risk by acting without any intel at all. I'm going to Cailin to get those answers. Once I've got them, I'll get Tamar and the others back and decide on an appropriate response. I know it's easier said than done, but try not to worry. I'll bring them all home, I promise."
"I know you will, thank you Guardian," Amanda replied.
Bob nodded then said, "Kadir, Cailin, you're with me. We'll port to Tranquility City then use the portal to Cailin."
As soon as Bob's team arrived in the governor's mansion, he had Cailin go over the security footage from the meeting, then he sent Kadir to interview Paul Edwards. Bob realized that no matter where Tamar was he should be able to reach her telepathically. He wondered why she hadn't tried to contact him. He decided to give it a try using both telepathy and speaking out loud so others would hear and not interrupt him. It took him a few minutes but he was finally able to locate Tamar's mind. He could sense that she was moving away from him at a high rate of speed so he linked minds with her and locked the link down. "Tamar honey, can you hear me?
"Master? Thank heavens! Where are we? What's going on?"
"I was gonna ask you those same questions. Is there anything you can tell me that might help us locate you?"
"Not really, Master. One minute we were in a meeting the next we were in these cells. About the only things I can tell you are that I believe we're on some kind of spaceship and that our captors appear to be humanoid. Oh and either the cells or the force-fields covering the doorways are blocking our psionics. We can't even talk to each other telepathically. That's why I couldn't call you for help. I'm surprised you were able to get through whatever it is that's blocking our powers."
"While the application of magic and psionics may seem somewhat similar, they function in a totally different way," Bob replied. "I could port you all out of there just by linking minds with everybody. But if you're all game, I'd like to find out just what these fools are up to. Give me a minute to link minds with all the others then we'll see where we go from there. Okay?"
"Sure thing, Master. Count me in though. I'm dying for some payback on these assholes anyway."
One by one Bob added all the other women to the group mind link. After explaining everything that he and Tamar had already talked about, every one of them agreed they wanted to help in any way they could. As a precaution he reinforced all their defensive shields with a magical one and added a magical psionic mind block.
Bob watched and listened through Tamar's mind as a minute or so later a guard and what appeared to be a doctor entered the cell block. The guard lowered the force-field on Tamar's cell and threw in three robes saying, "Put these on."
Tamar spit on the robes then laughed. She looked at the guard and said "Go fuck yourself. I'm not putting that fucking thing on!"
One of Tamar's cellmates, Shelby grabbed the robes and threw them back at the guard saying, "Shove them up your ass you piece of shit. We don't want them."
The guard scowled and said, "Be thankful we have orders not to harm you."
The doctor gave the guard a confused look and said, "I don't think you could harm them anyway. They've all got some kind of personal defensive shield. My medical scanner can't even tell me if they're alive or dead." The doctor turned to Tamar and said, "My orders are to insure that our transport device didn't harm your unborn child. Would you please lower your shield so that I can make sure everything's okay?"
Tamar gave the doctor an incredulous look. "You kidnap me then you want me to trust you and lower my shield? I don't know what the fuck you're smoking Doc, but I'm not about to lower my shield for you or anyone else. I will tell you this much though. You had better pray to your god that none of our children have been harmed in any way. Because if they have, my queen will send your heads rolling down the street as your lifeless bodies fall to the ground."
"You're wrong woman. You haven't been kidnapped. You've been arrested by order of Queen Lyssa and she would never behead one of her subjects," the doctor replied.
"Lyssa? Who the fuck is Lyssa? My queen's name is Cassandra! Your queen had better release us before MY queen serves your queen's head up on a silver platter! It's only a matter of time before Creation's Guardian tracks us down. When he does, I can pretty much guarantee you that all hell's gonna break loose. Your queen has no right to order our arrest. Only three people in all of Creation have that authority. Creation's Guardian himself, his wife the Queen of Creation, Cassandra, and the president of the Neuveian Federation, Amanda. The Guardian's gonna view this as a kidnapping of Neuveian Government officials. That's a capital offense and it carries the death penalty. I'm giving you fair warning, the Guardian will not negotiate with kidnappers. But he can and will do whatever he has to do to get us back. Even if that means destroying your entire race."
The doctor turned to the guard and said, "Close it up. We're done here." He looked back at Tamar then said, "I'll inform my captain of your empty threats of beheading and genocide. I'm sure she'll find your blustering as distasteful as I do."
After the doctor and guard left Bob sent, "Okay ladies, I've got some things I need to do. I don't wanna risk losing track of you. I'm gonna keep the mind link open and locked down. I'll be in the background but I'll still be able to see and hear everything that goes on. You'll also be able to talk to each other telepathically through the mind link. So you'll have some privacy if you want it."
Bob pushed the mind link to a small part of his mind while making sure he could still "hear" Tamar and the others as they "talked" to each other telepathically then put his main focus on the here and now. He turned to Cailin and said, "Report."
"I tend to agree with Governor Tamar. They're on some kind of spaceship. The first time I looked at the security footage, all you could see was a flash of light and they were gone. However, when I slowed the footage down to one frame per second, you could tell that they were caught up in some sort of transport beam."
"I don't get it," Bob frowned then continued, "why didn't their personal defensive shields prevent this transport beam from locking on to them in the first place?"
Cailin thought for a few seconds then said, "I can't be one hundred percent certain, but my best guess is that the transport beam operates on the same frequency as their shields. Remember how we had to match the frequencies of the portals and our personal shields? A transport beam would have to be some kind of matter to energy conversion beam and it's possible that the frequencies are an exact match."
"Assuming you're right, we've got the how. Now we need the who and why," Bob replied.
"I don't have enough information to answer those questions just yet. But there's something else you should know, Master," replied Cailin. She rubbed her forehead as she continued, "Our perimeter security satellites never sounded an alarm. In fact none of them even picked the ship up on visual. At first I thought some of the satellites were malfunctioning. But when I ran a diagnostic on them, I found them all to be in perfect working order. I would speculate that whoever we're dealing with has access to some highly sophisticated cloaking technology."
"Great! Just what we need, something else to make our jobs even more difficult than they already are. Let's get back to Neuveia, we've got some planning to do," Bob said.

Atlantian date and time: 12594/22/09 09:45 Hours
Place: Aboard the Atlantian scout ship H.M.S. Seeker approaching the McCadia cluster en route to New Atlantia.
Commander Jacobia Sue McDonald had just finished recording her impressions of the morning's events in her private, personal log when her ready room door chime sounded. She sat back in her chair and said, "Come."
Her exec, Lieutenant Commander Ronald Sullivan entered. He saluted and said, "Sorry to disturb you, Ma'am but there's a few problems with the prisoners. Five of them are in what appears to be the final stage of pregnancy. I was concerned that our transporter may have adversely affected their unborn children since it hasn't been 'officially' approved for Atlantian use. I sent Dr. Howard to the brig to examine them just to be sure everything is okay." Her exec went on to explain everything the doctor had told him.
Jacobia groaned and said, "Okay, I don't like the feel of this whole mess. Get Dr. Howard up here then have Comms patch me through to Queen Lyssa on a secured channel. The both of us are gonna need to hear his report firsthand."
After Dr. Howard arrived, Jacobia opened the channel and said, "Hi Nanna, my CMO has a report I think you need to hear."
The doctor finished giving his report then Lyssa said, "Son of a... What in the hell's going on here? First Lain can't find ANY record of ANY women missing from New Atlantia OR New Cronus. Now you're telling me that not only are all five of the full blooded Atlantian women very pregnant, but that all of them have some sort of defensive shield that works in a psionic proof cell? Then there's this Guardian of Creation, Queen of Creation thing. What is this, some kind of cult we haven't heard of yet? I have too many questions and no answers. I don't like this at all."
