"We'll sleep now," I said as Celeste snuggled close to my body, "And leave tomorrow morning."

They would be 'identified' as dark mages and spot executed.
Kind of a judge, jury, and executioner set - up. Ever see Judge Dredd? : )
edsponyalmost 10 years agoI enjoyed the start of the story, but I'm confused about one point. Why is a dark mage branded and then spot executed. Why not execute him in the first place and forget the branding ? Why release him to just execute him as soon as they spot him again?

Second chapter is already up and third chapter is submitted. I'm going to do short, bite sized chapters to get the story going and possibly longer ones as it does. Chapter Four is already shaping up to be at least 3 or 4 (lit) pages long.
