Courtney grabbed two hand towels and they were mopping themselves up and laughing and Courtney said, "I guess that works!" and Garth just collapsed on the floor.
"You can come out now Lazlo" called Fleur, and as she did, Lazlo walked out in just his light wool pants with unbuttoned shirt again. Garth was sitting naked on the floor and somewhat nervous about Lazlo's reaction when he saw Fleur kneeling next to Courtney, both looking rather dishevelled.
"Honey, I think we should go," said Fleur. "We don't want to be late stayers."
Courtney rose to her feet and kissed Fleur on the cheek. Taking her hands she said, "I think I owe you one. Maybe we can take a rain check."
"Rain check, how appropriate," said Fleur. And indeed, outside a light rain had just started to hiss on the rooftops, cutting the heat of the night air.
