"I guess she could wait for us out there somewhere, she could join us, or she could just stand back and watch us."

"You're talking so brave and matter of fact."

"Those are the choices I had when she made love to a young stud some time back."

"Oh my God, really?"

"Really, and a guy in New York, though that weekend long episode nearly destroyed our relationship, but I'll spare you those unpleasant details."

"I think I will get dressed though love, because I'd handle this better if I didn't have to try to smile at her right after you and I made hard, passionate and soul satisfying love. You are getting married in a couple of weeks remember."

"I do remember," and he kissed her once again before they got out of bed and took a moment to straighten the bedding.

As he watched her dress minutes later, he said, "I'll get copies of the photos to you soon, but do I make a copy for Marcie?"

"She can share my copy and I'll make sure she doesn't share them with her friends, though I'd like to think she's a lot smarter than that." Then turning to him, she slipped her arms around him as she said, "Owen, I really do want to do a boudoir series with you. I hope that can happen even though you'll be married by then."

"Then we'll make that happen."

"We talked about you and Marcie bonding and making memories, but nothing like you and I have now. When I'm home alone I'll have those memories you and I have created to keep me company."

They walked to the door and stepping outside with her, he said, "We didn't even finish looking at the dirty pictures."

"If we tried that now, we just might end up in bed yet again, and we're both too tired for that now. Night Owen."

"Night Elise, and thank you for a memorable day."

"It was for me too Owen."

It was close to eight thirty when Nila stopped at Owen's and he told her, "I got some really bad news earlier."

"My God what?"

"Our house isn't sold. Casey is in jail, arrested by the feds for a whole string of charges."

"Oh great, so all of our planning is set back for who knows how long."

"That's right, but other than timing, our plan is still going to progress up to the constructions phase and we'll put this place on the market soon. So did you three have fun shopping?"

"We had a great time. I didn't bring my purchases in of course but I bought my share of things, and some for the wedding and the reception."

"Did you get the reception invitations sent out by the way?"

"Oh my God yes, days ago, and I specified no gifts beyond their presence."

"Great."

She was half smiling as she asked him, "So tell me lover, did you and Elise or Marcie make love?"

"Well certainly not Marcie, but I'm sure you know without seeing us, Elise and I did make love."

"I was pretty sure you would, but of course I wasn't certain about Elise. Was it good?"

"I can say very good, but do you mean you want details?" and he smiled.

"No, I can live without the details honey. Okay," and she kissed him and told him, "I'm beat so I'm going home. I set it up with Perry, Kathy, Dan and Alana to go out for an early dinner tomorrow at five. We'll just go to Houlihan's if that's okay."

"That's fine. I'm looking forward to seeing them. Night honey," and Nila headed home.

Chapter Two Hundred Twenty Three

Before Owen went to work Monday morning, he went to the kitchen to have coffee with Char, and standing in the doorway, he smiled and said, "Damn I do love seeing you naked."

"I'm not naked, I'm wearing comfortable shoes today."

"I can live with that," and he walked over to her, gave her a firm hug and a kiss before he told her, "I have big news this morning."

"I can't begin to guess what that might be."

"We'll be living here awhile longer, because the house isn't sold after all."

"So how...well never mind that, so how do you feel about that?"

"Mixed emotions, but mostly sad, because now everything will be hanging in limbo. I want to get Van's party behind us and then the wedding and reception. Then I can better focus on everything else. You will be here for the party, right?"

"Sure, but I don't think I do much good for you."

"Well you sure make Art happy."

"Oh sure I do. Well okay, I do love to tease him."

"I know, you sexy thing."

With Nila handling everything relating to the wedding, Owen put his energies into work and even worked an extra day with Dan Thursday until three, and Molly was there by four. "Hi stud, ready for the party?"

"I don't have much to do, so sure I am, but what about you?"

"I better be, because it's too late to do much now. Van called with a weird request about bringing something into the house, but he promised it would not harm the carpet or any furniture, so I said fine. Then lets see. Oh, and he's bringing his own computer and projector set up to show some kind of movies, but he was vague about all of that, but whatever, right?"

"Sure, if it keeps him happy then great, but of course they will be dirty movies or photos I'm betting. Some plastic boob porn actors and fake this and fake that like liquid soap for the guys spunk."

"Gross, can you imagine plastic tits, licking that up?"

"Then they probably use sweetened condensed milk."

"Okay boss, now how do you know these things?"

"I read about it one time."

"Sure, whatever you say stud."

"You don't know if I am because you and I have never made love."

"I'll still put my money on you boss. Okay, I'll be here a little before the party begins, and with Nila's help we'll hold each other's hands to help get us through the carnal madness. Bye love."

"Bye hot ass."

She stopped and smiled, wiggled her butt for him and left.

Owen checked his watch and then called Kate. "Hi, on your way home?"

"Just going in the door. You're in jail and need bond right?"

"You're just too funny. Have you talked to or been around Nila recently?"

"Some, but she's with you most of the time, why do you ask?"

"I'm not even sure. I'll spare you the long involved details, but Saturday she was about half wild and totally different than I've ever seen her. She did daring things far beyond anything she's ever done, and I do mean far beyond. She was behind the idea of...well never mind that, but you get the idea. I thought she just might have said something or you noticed any change in her."

"I've just noticed that she's been very lively and happy, but she's about to marry you, so that's no surprise. So are you saying you don't approve of how she was?"

"No, that's not it at all, but the change was pretty dramatic and I'm understating that big time. I'm not holding out on you, it's just that it's a long and involved story and I'll want you to hear all of it at the same time."

"Sure, okay. Sorry I don't have more to share with you. If I see her I'll be a little more attentive, and maybe even make little open ended comments."

"Great, thanks sis. See you at the reception."

"Hey, what about the police and your huge deposit?"

"That's all in their hands and my lawyer's hands now, and I'm pretty much out of it as far as I know."

"Hey brother, are you worried about Nila?"

"A little maybe. Concerned maybe, and certainly very curious, but not like it's life threatening."

"Okay, bye."

Then all was quiet until late Saturday when Molly, and then the all male wait staff that Van had provided, arrived. Molly had already talked to them about their duties, and they went straight to the kitchen and changed. Owen told Nila, "Having Molly seeing to almost everything is making this easy for me. I'm more like an outside observer than anything else."

"This will be much easier to deal with I'm sure."

"I wouldn't relax too much honey. Just think, one week from now you and I will be married and we'll be in the middle of whatever kind of reception you've dreamed up."

"You'll love it."

"I'm sure I will," and then Van arrived a good half hour ahead of his guests. Owen and the others watched as Van and two of his friends carried things to the great room where the party would be. A large flat board that looked more like a piece of nice furniture, and a long thick something and Owen couldn't guess what that was. The third guy lugged the computer projector gear in and set that up on a table that Molly had provided for them. Then the screen went up and the system tested and shut off again.

Van joined Owen at the bar and ordered a Coke. "Going to be a great party Owen, and damn I'm sorry this will be your last."

"I'm going to miss all of this, but some things just have to be."

"I guess that's right. Well I'm going to go talk to the waiters, and the guests will be pouring in soon."

"Have a blast Van."

"You know I will, but some of my fun will take place in the days and weeks after this party," and left with Owen to trying to decide the meaning of that last comment.

Chapter Two Hundred Twenty Four

Just as Van's first party had been, it started off very quiet and almost boring, so Owen would wander into his office, poke around for a minute, go to the bathroom and then join Art again. Nila was mildly curious about the partiers, but even she took a turn in the office with Molly.

"Going through much booze? Owen asked Art.

"More than you'd think, so from that I'd guess the party will pick up soon. While you were gone I heard some laughter and commotion on the far side of the room, and somebody's shorts went flying. Why do things always happen at the far end of the room?

"You've got me."

I don't even know if the flying garments were men's or women's. A couple of other squeals, but I don't know what about. Van's in the middle of it though, whatever it is."

"What I don't get is, remember Trace's party and how quick they were to get going? Van's group always takes half the evening to get going."

"That is pretty weird, but the money's the same, right?"

"That's a fact Art. Okay, Tell Nila that I wandered into the kitchen and I'm teasing Char." A minute later Owen joined his sweet Char and said, "Hi sweetheart," and he sat down at the table.

" Well hi to you." and he stared at her and asked, "What's wrong Char?"

"Pay me no attention. I got into it with my darling husband again, and I'm still thinking about that I guess."

"Damn that's not good. Is there anything I can do to help you?"

"I don't know what that would be, but it helps knowing you're here and you worry about me."

"Of course I worry about you."

"I may have to work a different day next week, but I don't know. I'm going apartment hunting."

"Oh damn, it's that serious?"

"I'm afraid it is, and it's been coming for a long time."

"You've made small references about him in the past."

"I've tried to make light of my mess and keep it to myself."

"I have a question though. Why are you looking for an apartment and not him?"

"Because I don't want to be in that house anymore. That place has too much of his scent in it."

"I believe I understand that. Okay, now here's the big question, and I don't want you just brushing this aside, because I won't just let this go. Why the hell don't you move into the large guest room upstairs? Hell, I have guest rooms and bathrooms coming out of my butt honey, and an apartment would cost you half of what you make."

"Owen, now this is my problem and I'm not telling you this so you'll bail me out of my mess."

"Lady, if you don't move in here I'm going to be a little pissed at you for being stubborn. You'll cost me next to nothing, and I'll have you here to harass. Hell, that means you can work out a new schedule. Say clean this part Monday, another part Tuesday and so on. I don't give a damn how you work it out. Just get your stuff over here, and if you need help with that just say so, and don't argue with me okay?"

Char wiped her eyes, and then put her arms around him saying, "My God Owen, I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have you to talk to and to work for. Thank you so very much."

"Thank you for agreeing to move in here, and I really am sorry about your mess."

"I should have faced this a long time ago." Then wiping her eyes again, she said, 'Now do me a favor and go away so I can get myself together."

"I'll do as you ask, but never hesitate to come to me or Nila okay?"

"Thank you." Then Owen realized he should have talked to Nila, so he went out and found her at the bar with Art.

"Where's Molly?" he asked her.

"Wandering someplace, but I don't know where."

"Wander into the office with me for a minute." As they left he asked her, "Have I missed anything with the party?"

"I haven't paid a lot of attention. I heard some laughing and other sounds like they were playing some kind of game, but I didn't work hard to try and figure any of that out. Van is putting out a lot of money for a pretty average party."

"Well to us it's average, but we don't know what the conversations are about or what's yet to come."

"I guess," and Owen closed the office door behind him. "Nila, I did something a minute ago and then realized I should have checked with you first. I'm just so used to handling that though." He told her about Char's crisis and his solution, and Nila didn't exactly smile and sing his praises at first, but then she said, "Well I guess that was the right thing to do, but we'll lose some of our privacy."

"Honey, we can wander naked, make love wherever we want and she won't even care, but I suspect she would just move on and leave us to our fun. I really doubt we'll see her a lot, because she'll want her privacy too."

"That's true too. Okay, thanks for telling me, and I understand why you handled it as you did. Let's get back and see if we're about to miss anything."

Molly was waiting for them at the bar, and before they could sit down, she told them, "Well I've figured something out. They're playing some kind of word game. Something Van has invented I'm betting, and clothes are flying, but here's the big one. What they carried in earlier and just assembled is called a St. Andrews cross. Bondage in other words."

"What?" Owen said as a thin smile slipped over his lips.

"Are you sure?" Nila asked her.

"Yes, I'm sure, but all you have to do is step closer to the great room and you can see it all set up. Oh, and the projector? Dirty picture after dirty picture. We're racing head long into full out porn."

"They must be having fun, because I'm suddenly not mixing drinks," Art added as he watched Owen grasp what was beginning to happen.

Owen looked at Nila for just a second and then grabbed his phone. His thin smile had blossomed into a grin as he placed a call and gave Nila just one word. "Kathy," and as Nila's hand went to her smiling lips, he said, "Hey Perry, I need to talk to Kathy real quick. She'll tell you why in a minute." Seconds later he told her, "Grab a large envelope. I don't care how large, but slip a few sheets of paper in it and rush it over here, and I do mean hurry, and I promise you a surprise. You'll have to tell Perry that I can only explain your presence but not his. Hurry baby."

"You're crazy, but I'm on my way."

"Come straight to the bar area. Love you," and he put his phone away as he and Nila shared a knowing look.

Molly motioned for Nila to follow her, and they walked over to the edge of the over sized great room. Owen watched the women whisper back and forth as they stared at the now boisterous group, and Molly subtly pointed to something or somebody. It was several minutes before they rejoined Owen as Nila half whispered, "Van's waiters are all naked, and more hard than soft, and the women are all over them."

"Just most of the waiters," Molly added and then whispered, "One of them is screwing one of the women as we speak."

"Damn, from boring to orgy in minutes."

"It seems like that, but this has been building, but that game, whatever that entails, took a little time to build up the sexual energy, or that's my guess."

Art smiled and told Owen, "Well at least you don't have to photograph a naked stud getting a..." and then realizing what he was about to say in front of the women, he smiled and just left it there.

Chapter Two Hundred Twenty Five

Kathy was still almost running as she reached Owen and the others, and let out a long breath as she handed the manila envelope to him. "I got here as fast as I could."

"Thanks, I need this," he said loudly enough for anybody within twenty feet of him to hear, and then whispered to her, "We have a big treat for you," and he led her over to where she could see part of the wood and acrylic cross with the guy tied to it with wide Velcro straps. "What do you think love?"

"Oh my God Owen," she whispered, "That woman is almost yanking on his cock. What's going on?"

"Come back to the bar hon and have art fix you a drink, and we'll tell you."

Returning to the bar she ordered her usual whisky and water, and Nila said, "Molly will tell you and I'll go hide in the office so there aren't too many of us standing here."

"This party is just now getting wild and you can bet things will progress from here. Sorry you can't see more, but the room is pretty full of guests, and we have to be careful with our presence, but here's what we think is going on," and Molly shared everything they knew or were even guessing at.

With eyes wide, she asked Molly, "The party is going to get wilder?"

"Of course we can't guarantee that, but I'm willing to bet on that fact."

"How long can I stay and watch?"

"For awhile I'm sure, but I'll check with Owen in a minute."

"I just remembered that Perry, my husband, was one of the older waiters for one of the parties, and now I'm seeing something like what he experienced."

"Oh that's right, I'd forgotten about that. Listen, stick close to Owen and I'll go keep Nila company for a few minutes. If you see a chance to get a better view grab it, and if you only stay a minute, nobody will even realize you're there."

Kathy stayed within inches of Owen, and welcomed his gentle arm around her waist as they talked and glanced toward the noisy mass of partiers hoping to see what was happening to the person bound to the cross.

"It's a woman now," Owen whispered to Kathy and they shared a knowing smile as he asked her, "Wish you were out there?"

"Oh God yes, but only if you were there and not the others."

"Be right back," and Owen walked over to the edge of the fringes of the party group and talked to a tall guy who smiled as the two of them talked, and then he almost slapped Owen's back as his smile grew and Owen went back to Kathy. "The guy I was talking to is Van, the money and idea man responsible for this hedonistic mob. I asked him if he was happy with the party and he said it's exactly what he was hoping for. But he said something else. He said you're more than welcome to just walk over and watch them go crazy."

"Owen, I don't know if I can just...I mean what if somebody thought I was a guest and I ended up on that damn cross thing?"

"I'm sure that wouldn't happen, but it's up to you. Try walking over far enough to maybe get a better look past the constantly moving group."

"Keep an eye on me okay?"

"I'll even walk part way with you hon," and with his hand touching her back they moved closer, but when Owen stopped she stopped long enough to look up at him and then went several steps closer. From that point on, she was wrapped up in the party action and didn't even notice Owen went back to the bar.

Nila and Molly came back from the office, so Owen told them about Kathy and that he was taking his drink and going to the kitchen for a break from the constant din of voices and laughter.

"I'm back," Owen said as he entered the kitchen and saw Char sitting at the table in the breakfast room. "Doing better hon?"

"I'm a lot better, and a lot of that is thanks to you. Tell me more about not moving."
