"You..you what?" I said, like a twat.
"I love you, Lily." Kat repeated.
"Oh my gosh. You have no clue how long I've waited to hear those sweet words leave your mouth." I cried. "I love you too, my dear."
With that, we kissed.
"Now let's get out of this water." Kat suggested.
"Good idea, I think my nipples are going to be permanently stiff forever." I joked.
We both laughed as we swam back to the boardwalk.
Little did I know, there was so much more in store for Kat and I. Nothing was going to separate us at this point, but we would soon find out that fate had a different idea.
