Certeisalmost 3 years agoAuthor@Anon - Aww, thanks so much hun, I'm glad you're enjoying them and I'm really having a lot of fun continuing Lin'qa and Daliyah's story ;D. In fact, Chapter 2 of DU is mostly done and it'll be up on HF and AO3 in the next few days and then here a few days after that (as per usual). Honestly, Daliyah sort of came out of nowhere when I was writing chapter 4 of Warlord's Kitten and I just really liked her. I felt like a story that's about Lin'qa dealing with the aftermath of her Momma passing should include Daliyah, since she's dealing with almost the exact same set of circumstances, just, in a very different (murdery) way. Plus, someone has to whip that silly bimbo Lin'qa into shape, jeez.
To be frank, I'm a little stuck on aNDfH (lol). I've got a conclusion to that storyline planned, I just dont really "feel" how to execute it and keep it going smoothly. It will almost certainly get done eventually, since I go and write a paragraph or two every now and again, and eventually I guess that'll amalgamate into a finished chapter.
Anonymousalmost 3 years agoI've been looking forward to The Warlord's Kitten and A New Direction for Humanity (ANDfH? It's kind of a mouthful) being continued since I binge-read them in May. Sometimes I do a thing where I sort of overlook the flaws of a series when I'm binge-reading them and when I go back I'm kind of disappointed, but this is just as good as I remember it being. Wasn't expecting Daliyah to be a major character, though.
