"I thought I did, but I just spent two fucking days in the hospital. If you want to meet tomorrow, then find a neutral spot." I flip the phone shut and physically shake in anger and pain. "How can she be doing this to me? Doesn't she know how I feel about her? How could she think I would ever cheat on her? What evidence could she have seen that would have her acting this way without even confronting me first?"
