One thing I absolutely insisted upon and to which Jonathan agreed was full anonymity: no one could trace this account back to me and compromise my security. I have therefore deleted all reference to where Jonathan and I live, changed the location of his birth father, altered the names of my boss and coworker, and misrepresented the type of business in which I am employed. I also changed Jonathan's name against his strong objection, keeping my own as a balm to his indignation. Everything else is factual, as written.

I like how tormented mom was over the fact she comitted the taboo. I like putting myself in the shoes of others while reading. Feeling the guilt, excitement, bliss of becoming involved with someone whos forbidden.
When the characters thoughts are expressed and they're aware of what they are doing is very wrong it makes for a juicy story. It adds realism to the fiction, makes it come alive.more...

Very well done and not the standard by the numbers tale...
The journal premise is very unique and adds a very real twinge of discomfort as the female lead battles her guilt and desires. So many stories in this genre make no effort to tackle the conscience of the participants and what goes on in their hearts and minds after these encounters. Great stuff...more...

Interesting and complex
One should not feel guilty for feelings and actions that are beneficial to both. Quite a few have had family relations mostly with good results.
