Click hereAmy was so tired that she didn't hear Eric come in.
"Hi mom, how was your weekend?" Eric asked.
Amy was startled so she dropped the sandwich that she was eating right onto her lap.
"Jesus Eric...you scared me." Amy said.
"Sorry about that." Eric said.
He kissed Amy on the cheek then grabbed some potato chips and sat down across the table from Amy.
"So...how was your weekend?" Eric asked.
"I think I overdid it on my workout. My whole body is aching." Kelly said.
"Well...you should go take a nice hot shower and call it a night." Eric said.
"That's a good idea. I think I'll do that. How was your weekend with your grandparents?" Amy asked.
"It was cool. Grandpa actually wanted my advice on which truck he should buy." Eric said.
"I'm sure you picked out a good one." Amy said.
"It wasn't one that I'd pick for myself, but for what he wants to do with it it's going to be perfect." Eric said.
"I'm glad. I think I'll go take that shower now...unless you want me to make you something to eat." Kelly said.
"No...that's okay...grandma made a big lunch. I'll just have a little snack and I'll be okay." Eric said.
"Okay sweetie. Goodnight." Amy said.
Amy got up from the table, walked over, gave Eric a hug, kissed him on the cheek, and then headed upstairs with a smile on her face.
