"Uh, I'll think about it," Johnny said as he backed out the door. "I'll see you later."

"I went to see Fred last week and everything was going great then something went wrong and now I think I have ruined everything."

"Would you mind explaining it to me?"

"It actually started long ago when we were in high school. Fred, Mr. Grant , and your dad were friends for a long time. but very competitive.

Dad was the quarterback who threw the winning pass to Fred his receiver. Your dad just wouldn't let it go he lived that moment his entire life. Fred was quiet and i liked him a lot but he never asked me out. He barely would talk to me. I finally started to date your dad to get Fred to a least notice me. that was my mistake I should have just talked to him bht i was young and times were different then.

The Saturday after that there was another knock on the door.
