We talked further about Bobby. Janet was coming to the conclusion that her interaction with him had largely been as a lesson for him. He was given a series of choices and he chose a path which ultimately made him very unhappy. She was also coming to see herself as a volunteer rather than a victim. The healing caused by that idea was almost total.
Ann took the unused condoms back to the dorm saying: "Some of the kids have emergencies."
