I woke on horseback. I was warm despite the snow blowing around me. I was leaning against something warm and hard. I stiffened. That was a mistake. I groaned, my whole body was wracked in pain. The horse stopped and the arm that was around me loosened its grip.
"We will reach a small village soon. They have an inn you can rest in for the night." Dyther said.
"I don't need to rest." I said and tried to get down from the horse.
"You were shot full of boomslang venom. You need rest and a bath. You are covered in your own blood."
I looked down, my once white chemise was now almost brown. I groaned. That was my last dress.

A Krait has more potent venom I believe.
