Liam and Elfie watched the two other Fae leave, disappearing through the far door with a final wave. "When will we see them again?" Liam asked as they returned to their own realm.
"The doors seal after the festival. Go on, close it and you'll see the mortar form around the frame." Elfie crossed her arms and waited as the door shut, closing off the starry meadow. They waited, but nothing happened.
Curious, Liam jerked open the door and stuck his head through only to see Krampus doing the same on the other side. "It still works," Krampus called. "Guess we're neighbors." He gave a roguish grin and disappeared again. Liam shut the door and smiled as nothing changed. They waited a full ten minutes simply staring at the door. Liam checked it again, pleased to find it still open.
"Elfie, are we the only Fae left? There's a flat stone in front of our door, and one across the way at Krampus's. There's more of them in all around the ring. More doors that we can't see."
"I don't know, Liam," she said with a pleased hop. "Guess we'll have to keep watch."

Kryms1n4 months agoWhen you said that Sarah and Liam reuniting would change the world, I expected something much more unpleasant than what happened. Brilliantly done with the unforeseen 180, that was an exceptional plot twist
ZZchromosomeover 1 year agoExcellent story, very cheerful and fun. The transformations were lots of fun and the orgies were, too. So this means that in 9 months, all the girls are going to be popping at once? Did anyone think to lay in a supply of diapers? Formula won't be a problem, Liam knows how to make all the girls milkers.
Booboobear84over 1 year agoThis is very sweet and very well executed. This end came too soon, but didn't It's perfect, but I loved the characters so much that I wanted the ride to take longer.
Anonymousover 1 year agoI could see other doors opening for each of the Pagan Festivals. And maybe even for each cultural iteration of the seasons. Polynesian, Greek, Celt, Norse, Egyptian etc. So much can happen in a open ended Mythology.
