"Of course, I will have to return here at once in order to report to the Commandant and the Dux."

Wow, that was even better. And extended period of male bonding between two sexually frustrated men. I was really looking forward to that.

Just as I was about to start feeling miserable, Jiang returned, his smile a little worried.

"Private?" Captain Ember said as he crouched down next to us.

"Bad news, Ma'am," he said. "There are more than a hundred guys out looking for..." he grinned. "...a tall, blond gift slave with blue eyes. The men are very determined to find him, their women are either very confused, angry, or scared."

"I see," Captain Ember said. "Thank you, private."

Jiang gave her a simpering smile that did not fade even as she looked away and started thinking. I kind of forgot that he, too, was under her spell. Perhaps my power of enslavement that now held him was not that different from what a regular submissive felt?

"Right," Captain Ember said after a minute or two. "I was originally heading for one of the naval sloops, but they are right in the open in the middle of the city. Instead, we'll try to circle around the badlands, then requisition the first fishing vessel we find."

"Yes, Ma'am," Jiang said.

"Yes, Ma'am," I replied. It felt good saying that. It made something wake up deep inside the prison pants.

With Jiang scouting ahead, we climbed over the rocky rocks and the stony stones and slipped between bushy bushes. Up on its hill the castle looked quiet, but I was sure it was buzzing like a wasps' nest after you toss two statues of particularly sexy queen bees at it. Down in the city the lamps carried by Sprite's men kept moving around, never at rest.

I was feeling better, and the reason was that as we closed in the city, there was a constant need to stop each time we heard sounds or saw shadows. It seemed that the best way Captain Ember had of signaling to me was to pull my tie out of my shirt and lead me by it. Just like you do with your poodle at the local dog show.

To her there was nothing erotic, even sensual, about it, merely practical. To me, it was having one of my first and most intense sexual fantasies fulfilled. On a leash, finally. How many times hadn't I been lying in my bed back home, my belt around my neck, wanting this to come true?

Of course, in my fantasies the walkies had always ended with a big finale where I was fucked senseless. I this case I got nothing for my troubles except a very raw head on my penis.

After a few minutes we reached the place where a spur of the surrounding mountains struck out to embrace the right side of the harbor, opposite from the tall lighthouse that now shot a colored beam out over the gleaming ocean. I noticed how all the stars up there were like little fireflies, moving across the sky towards the colder parts of the disc, embers left by the sun as it had roared across the sky. Down in the city there were a few bamboo huts clustered next to the steep mountain side on the right, and Jiang made us follow a small depression that kept us hidden from any watchful eyes. I stumbled and almost fell, again and again, not used to being outside in the dark. I was sure Captain Ember was really, really impressed with me.

***

When we reached the first bamboo huts, the Captain made Jiang scout ahead again. He returned to tell us that there were two men down by the water who had taken it upon themselves to patrol the street running along the harbor.

"Can you sneak past them?" Captain Ember asked.

"Yes, Ma'am," he said. "And there are some fishing boats down there, as well. I can have one ready for you in five minutes, Ma'am." Damn, was he eager to please?

"Very well. Do that, private, then wait for us, ready with the oars."

He nodded and slipped away again.

"Private," Captain Ember said when he had disappeared. "When it's our turn, I want you to walk down to the boat and get in. Do not take any notice of what I do, or do not do. Do not wait or hesitate or look around."

"Why, Ma'am?" I said.

"Private, I just gave you an order," she said.

"Yes, Ma'am." How could such a matter-of-fact utterly non-sexual line make me so hard? "Yes, Ma'am," I repeated. "Yes. Ma'am."

"This is no time for foolishness, private," she said and motioned me to stand up. "Let's do it. Now."

We rose together, and started to walk down past the first hut. It was a small, shabby one, and there were no lamps lit inside. Captain Ember walked close to me, very close, as if we were two lovers returning from a secret date. I put my arm around her. She let me. It fitted with our cover.

We passed a few more huts, and still no-one saw us. There was just the harbor-facing street left now, but it was wide and well lit.

"Hey!" a tense, male voice said just as I believed we had made it. "You there! Tall guy! Come here!"

I had no plans to come to him, but that didn't seem to matter. He came running towards me instead.

"Hey! Over here! I want to look at you!" another voice called.

Two men were heading towards me from separate directions. One was an old fat guy wearing a butcher's apron, the other a young man of my own age that might be a fisherman. They were both very, very determined.

"Blond hair!" the old man shouted. "It's him!"

"I found him!" the young man shouted.

There might have been a hilarious fight as if between two starving predators coming up. The classic one where the prey manages to sneak away while the pair were busy duking it out over him. Then they both saw Captain Ember.

"My Lady!"

"My Lady!"

Captain Ember turned to me, whispered, "Keep walking, private!", then cleared her throat. "Gentlemen," she said. "If you would be so kind as to follow me? I want the pair of you to come here and stop anyone else from approaching us in a mostly non-violent and certainly non-lethal manner. Thank you very much." She left my side and walked towards the old man, in the direction of the city center.

The young man ran past me and joined her, all but panting and drooling at her feet. When she reached the old man, he in turn started gushing about how much of a Queen she was.

Only the taut muscles in the Captain's neck told me that she was very, very uncomfortable with the situation. "Right, I want you gentlemen to..."

I didn't catch the rest of what she was saying. Instead of walking straight over to the fishing boat where Jiang was sitting, waving at me, I had remained standing, a confused monument to the importance of boot camp as an institution for instilling unquestioning obedience to orders in soldiers.

One moment I was all alone, then suddenly someone alien was there, next to me. Suddenly that someone grasped my throat, and suddenly that someone had spun me around and marched me in among the bamboo huts.

***

I didn't have the time or opportunity to identify my captor in any greater detail, other than that he was a man, that he was very good at making people walk by bending joints in their arms, and that he was determined that Captain Ember and Jiang should not be able to follow and so rescue me. Apparently he was either immune to my gift, or he hadn't noticed the Captain properly.

A few moments after we had disappeared among the huts, I heard the two of them yelling behind me, heard running feet, but no-one challenged us. Then, it was too late.

A few streets down we met three men with lamps held high, looking through a storage area behind a warehouse filled with old crates. They looked disappointed to see that they were too late, but then decided to start shouting "We found him!" as a way of including themselves. Their cries made several other men come running, and soon we had a mob on our tail.

As we approached the city center we had a moving wall of men behind us. Along the street there stood the occasional woman, looking at me like I was some kind of miracle cure that would make this madness end. If they only knew.

Soon we reached a place where you could head up towards the castle, and I assumed that the efficient man who'd caught me would be twisting my arm and steering me up there so that I could have a nice cup of tea with an old friend. He didn't. Instead he twisted my arm and steered me in the opposite direction. Down towards a long, wide pier sticking out into the bay. The pier was abandoned except for a single figure.

It was a black-haired, beautiful woman from Slave Fountain Island with the power to enslave any man who looked at her.

But it wasn't Wicked Sprite, the witch. It was Midnight Glow.

***

"Sam!" she called. "Oh, Sam! There you are, finally!"

The man who goaded me along by bending some of my more sensitive joints seemed to insist that it was his right to deliver me straight into her arms, and I was all but running towards her as he pushed me.

"Stop!" she called out. Just like Captain Ember and Sergeant Tease, Midnight Glow did not seem to find anything amusing about the situation. In fact, she looked terrified.

The man stopped. The other men who had followed him stopped.

"Let him go!" she said.

I was released and stumbled over the rough planks towards her. Large merchant vessels lay at anchor on both sides, creaking, masts swaying, the water lapping against them.

Her hug was soft and comforting, yet I felt how she trembled. So did I, but this was not the time to try to reassure each other.

"What is going on!" she said. "This is crazy! These men, they just... I'm freaked out, Sam. Seriously. Sorry, but even though I came all the way from home to rescue you, I would not have stayed here tonight. Not with these people looking like drooling zombies."

"Hey, you!," she shouted over my shoulder. "Stay away! Get off the pier!"

"Damn that Sprite!," she said and hugged me harder. "I knew she was up to no good. I knew she was lying. I knew... Get off! Come, Sam. Come. I'm ready. I got a boat. Come!"

"But, I've got some people-"

"In the boat, Sam! Please!"

I gave up and just followed her. The hand that was dragging me towards the end of the pier was much more pleasant than the bending and twisting the nasty man had subjected me to.

There was a small boat tied at the extreme end of the pier. It was of the same type as the one Sprite had used, and it looked ready to sail. At least, it was straining against the rope that held it in place, pointing in the wrong direction from the general incoming wind. Had she used the same kind of magic as Sprite? The one made from her gift slave's, well, produce? I was pretty sure it wasn't good, old sperm I was pumping out of the ol' six-shooter for five minutes straight each time I had a bit of fun.

As the men closed in again, Glow climbed down, then gave me a hand. It was gallantry in reverse, but then she'd grown up with boats and my nautical credentials were limited to me having sitting in my car seat on the occasional ferry. As soon as I was down she undid the rope, and as soon as the rope was undone, the boat started moving, and as soon as the boat started moving, I fell over.

When I got to my feet/butt/knees we were already closer to the lighthouse than the pier. I shouted. "Glow! We have to wait. There are some people who need to come with us. Turn around."

"Turn around?"

"Yes! It's important!"

"All right, but if those guys come out in their own boats to chase me, then we're out of here. I'm not having any of that. This is one seriously crazy night!"

She made some funny hand movements and had the boat do a wide U-turn on the large, open space outside the large merchant vessels, the wind doing cartwheels to obey her, her dress flapping worse than the sails.

I looked towards the shore and saw a huge wave coming our way. It was a wave of men who were turning around. Striding up the now packed pier was Captain Ember with Jiang in tow. All the men faced her, fawned at her, tried to get her attention. She ignored them all.

"Those two!" I shouted. "We need to pick up those two!"

"Who are they?" Glow replied.

"Not now!"

Captain Ember reached the end of the pier just as the boat slid along it. She didn't even have to pause, just went on walking, made a small jump, landed like a pro, and sat down between Glow and me. A moment later Jiang landed at the rear with the skill and grace of a Shao Lin monk. The wind filled the sails, the boat shot away.

"Captain Ember!" I said and laughed, gesturing with my hands. "This is Midnight Glow from Slave Fountain! She's my friend, and she just rescued us! Glow, this is Captain Ember and private Jiang from..."

I fell silent. The laughter died like a pig being shot in the head mid-oink.

The look Captain Ember gave Glow told me a cat fight was about to commence, and I was the half-dead mouse they would do combat over.

"Thank you very much, Ms Glow," Captain Ember said with that perfect polite demeanor that in no way could be misinterpreted as a condescending sneer. "As an officer in the Dux's armed forces, I hereby requisition this vessel. We will put to shore at the first convenient stop and let you be on your way. That small pier over by the lighthouse will do nicely."

"I'm sorry," Midnight Glow said with wide smile that in no way looked anything like a vicious knife used to gut live fish, "but I am just a poor country girl, and I don't know so many long, hard words. But I'm so glad you gave my friend Sam back to me. Though to me it looked as if he made it all on his own."

"I'm sorry," Captain Ember said. "Private Sam here is a soldier with the Slave Squad, an elite unit of the armed forces. I am currently his commanding officer. We are on an official mission for the Dux. You're not. If you contact Lamplight Castle you will be reimbursed for the cost of your vessel, plus sundry expenses."

"I'm sorry," Glow said. "Sam's not your solider. He just arrived in our world."

"I'm sorry, but you are in error. Please show Ms Glow your tie, private," Captain Ember said without turning to me.

I reached into my shirt and pulled out the long, green tie made from the Captain's dress.

Glow looked at it for one second, then laughed. "That does it, Sam! You have to come with me. I just got a thousand and one naughty ideas. Soldier, eh? Let's play a game called 'How long can he stand to attention before he starts crying?'"

"Ms Glow," Captain Ember said. "If you won't leave this vessel voluntarily, I will have to escort you off."

"Will you, now?" Glow said. "And what if I won't put the boat ashore? This boat obeys my commands."

"I see," Captain Ember said. "Private Jiang, please restrain and secure up Ms Glow."

"You what?" Glow said and took a step away.

"Private Jiang!" Captain Ember barked. "Obey me!"

The Chinese man just sat there and stared at the two women with open mouth and terror in his eyes.

"Private Jiang!"

"Stop it, Ma'am!" I said. "Jiang is caught between your and Glow's powers."

"You've slept with this criminal, private?" Captain Ember said. Her neck muscles did not seem pleased.

"Yes," I said in my highest register.

"Twice," Midnight Glow said and winked. "Once on my pillow, once in my shower. Before you invaded my boat, he told me that I'm much better in the sack than you. Apparently, you're like a wax doll."

"No, I-" I tried.

"Well, then," Captain Ember said and threw a look at Jiang. "Do not trouble yourself, private. I apologize. It will pass and then you'll be back to your normal self. Private Sam, we will now apprehend Ms glow."

I rose, and looked from the Captain to Glow. The Captain was proud, fierce, determined. Glow was angry, defiant, and... vulnerable? She was wearing a seaman's clothes, wide shirt and rough, gray skirt. But beneath that, peering through here and there, was the sexy red dress she'd worn when we'd made love the first time.

Midnight Glow had come straight here as soon as the villagers had found out Sprite had abducted me. She'd even put on the dress I had loved. For my sake. And now I was going to wrestle her, tear that dress to shreds?

"No," I said. "I'm sorry, Ma'am, but I am not going to do that."

"Very well," Captain Ember said, her neck full of knots now. Then, she drew her sword. "Let me show you how we deal with deserters and traitors in the armed forces."

***

Captain Ember lifted her sword.

"You'll have to go through me!" Glow hissed at her and tried to step in front of me.

Since I was still a man and did my best to retain a touch of self-respect, I responded by trying take my own step to protect her with my body. In the end the pair of us all but fought to be the one closest to the Captain's blade.

Captain Ember took a step closer. She looked like a samurai who had entered a trance where she was channeling the power of a head-chopping lotus flower.

"No!" Jiang shouted and threw himself between Ember on one side and Midnight Glow and me on the other. "Ma'am! My Lady! Please don't fight. I don't want either you to get hurt! Please calm down and just talk about this as reasonable people!" His eyes were so desperate and his face so conflicted it was a wonder he did not split in two.

For a few moments no-one spoke.

"I can talk," Midnight Glow said with narrowed eyes.

"I can talk," Captain Ember said. "Under duress." She sheathed her sword.

"And I can talk, too," I said. "I'm sick and tired of people discussing me over my head. It's all mumbo jumbo magic stuff and lots of strange people and lots of topics that I don't know jack shit about. But I'm tired of being treated like a..." I stopped, because I was about to see Mr Irony staring back at me from the mirror with my next word. It began with an 's' and rolled off my tongue more easily each time I used it.

"You are a private in the Dux's armed forces, and you have no right to even ask... Well? What's so funny, Ma'am?" Captain Ember looked at Glow.

"Sorry," Glow said when she stopped laughing. "He's just so cute when he's angry. What have you done to the poor man? It's almost as if he's grown a backbone or something. Haven't you rubbed his cock enough? You have to remember to rub men's cocks at regular intervals, or they start arguing and talking back. I would have expected more of army discipline. I'm paying my taxes, you know."

"Can you stop it?" I said.

"Sorry, sir," Glow said. "I was lying. Taxes? Hah! I'll address the question to you instead, Sam. Haven't they rubbed your cock enough?" She let her hand slip down and between my legs, as surreptitiously as an elephant ninja in a china shop. "What? Prison pants? Why, he should be groveling on the floor by-"

I groaned.

Our eyes met. She removed the hand. "Sorry," she mouthed.

In a way, it was too late. Now I was horny again, and so all the desire I had ever had to sustain my righteous anger had drained away. I averted my eyes from her bosom, heaving or otherwise, as well as the Captain's braid, flapping in the wind. Fuck my insatiable lust.

"Please sit down," I said and took the initiative by dropping down on a wooden seat.

Glow sat down next to me, Captain Ember opposite, with Jiang kneeling behind her, his eyes still full of conflicting loyalties.

The boat had by now left the lighthouse behind, steering almost on its own, and we were out on the open ocean. It was completely dark, with only the beam from the tower gliding across the water giving us any sense of direction. A lamp dangled from the mast, Its warm glow able both to create deep, secretive shadows while at the same time amplifying the beauty of the two women's wildly different features. Captain Ember was pale and slim, Midnight Glow dark and sensual.

"I came to to this world three days ago," I said, speaking fast, trying to keep focus on my words instead of on Glow's thigh that brushed against mine. "On my first day I was milked for my sperm and then had sex with Glow here. Which was nice, don't get me wrong."
