"May twenty second," John answered. He caught Tyler staring at him. "No, Mia's not pregnant," he assured his soon to be father-in-law.
"Not yet anyway," Mia added. "And not anytime soon," she said, catching the look on her father's face.
"I don't want to be a grandfather for at least another five years," Tyler warned John. "How's dancing going?" Tyler asked Mia, changing the subject.
"Difficult. The doctors and the instructors at Julliard have decided that I won't be able to dance professionally again, that there's been too much damage to my spine and legs," Mia answered.
"I'm sorry sweetie," Lily murmured.
"It's okay. I've been teaching some kids at the YMCA the basics to ballet and I think I'm going to go into teaching. NYU has a really good program," Mia answered, her eyes lighting up at the prospect. Lily and Tyler smiled and exchanged glances. It appeared to them that their daughter had found her calling.
This is the end of Lily and Ty's story; I will be following up with Mia and John's story soon. I hope you enjoyed reading about Lily and Ty; Grace and Grant will be around a little in Mia and John's story. Thanks for reading!
