Finding His Mate Too: Daniel Ch. 03

"Ok. You win. But I will be out there in two years." Madison smiled brightly then placed a kiss on his lips. Sliding her hands down the front of his chest, she grabbed his belt and started to unbuckle it.

"Now that we have that out of the way, I believe you owe me." Dante leaned back in his chair, feeling himself already start to get hard and slyly grinned.

"Oh I owe you something huh?" Madison nodded her head then squealed when Dante lifted her up and cradled her in his arms. "Baby you just don't know. You just don't know."

"I will get back to you two when all of the tests are down and tell you what I find out. Now you should eat a lot of food and drink lots of water. Although you are part Were, it doesn't mean that you can't faint from the amount of blood you just lost. You should be healed pretty soon though from the looks of things so you may just be ok." Daniel helped Tiffany off the bed she was sitting on and nodded his head at James. He decided that he should get Tiffany down to the pack clinic as soon as possible so that he could either get results or start an investigation of his own. He waited until James was done wrapping up Tiffany's arm and followed him out of the room so that he could talk to him privately. Closing the door behind him, he looked down at the small doctor.

"What do you think doc?" James looked up at Daniel and smiled lightly.

"I doubt that mating with her will harm her in any way. From what it seems like, there is an emotional tie to her and her wolf form that is slightly...fogged. You know what, on second thought don't mate with her and try not to engage in anything sexual that may lead you to mating with her. I'm not really positive in my predictions and want to make sure everything is 100 percent okay before I give you the green light."

Daniel nodded his head then thanked James before going back into the room. "You ready?" Tiffany nodded her head and let Daniel guide her out of the clinic. Once they were outside, he wrapped his arm around her and brought her to his side.

"Now that wasn't so bad was it?" Tiffany glared at him before looking back ahead of her. Daniel had to drag her out of his room once he told her that he was taking her to the clinic to get blood work done. If there was one thing that she hated, it was definitely needles.

"No I guess it wasn't. You still have to make it up to me though, so it better be something good or I may never forgive you." Daniel chuckled at that and kissed her on top of her head.

"Trust me babe. I'm definitely going to make it up to you and you're going to like every minute of it." Daniel felt her shudder and cupped her ass in his hand. He stopped and looked down into her eyes, watching as they changed colors. "And I doubt that you could ever not forgive me after I'm done with you." He placed a soft kiss on her lips and tapped her on her ass before turning around and continuing his way to the manor. He heard Tiffany's footsteps following him a couple seconds later then thought of something. Turning back around, he waited until she caught up then grabbed her hand. "I want to show you something."

Tiffany let him navigate her toward where ever he was taking her and saw that they were going into the woods. She wondered what was so important in the woods that they needed to go to it at this moment, but kept it to herself. Daniel clearly wanted to show her something that was important to him. As they moved deeper into the forest, she realized they were walking toward the pack graveyard and felt a shiver run up her spine. The last time she visited a graveyard was when she buried her mother and her father.

Daniel felt Tiffany tense and moved her closer to his side. He figured that the sight of a graveyard would put her on edge and that was the exact reason why he brought her to it. He needed her to see that death wasn't always tragic. He stopped once they were in front of his mother and father's grave stone and moved Tiffany so that she was standing in front of him. "I brought you here not only because I wanted to formally tell my parents that you are my mate, but also because I wanted you to see that death isn't so bad. I know that the death of your parents really hit home for you, and trust me I can understand how that pain feels, but I don't believe your parents would want you to see their deaths as heartache. I believe that they would want you to see it completely different." Bending down on one knee, he grabbed her hand and kissed the palm of it. This was a big step he was about to take and he needed all of the support he could get.

"Mom, Dad, I know that I have not been the greatest son and probably caused you two a lot of heartache, but I would like you to meet someone who is very special to me. This beautiful, intelligent woman standing beside me right now is my mate. She is the woman who will bring you two future grandchildren; the woman who will heal the broken soul of your son." He glanced up at Tiffany briefly, before looking back down. "I think that is all for now. I'll visit you two another time." Kissing his fingertips, he placed them on the tombstone and rose up from where he was kneeling and took Tiffany into a hug. "See babe? All you have to do is talk to them." He kissed her on her neck and looked down at her before turning around and leaving the woods.

Tiffany watched Daniel as he slowly sauntered off and let out a shaky breath. She knew what Daniel was hinting for her to do, but she didn't think she was ready just yet. She took one last look at his parents' tombstones before turning around and making her way back. She stopped when she saw that Daniel was waiting for her a couple feet away and walked up to him. "I thought you were leaving me here."

Daniel looked down at her and smiled. "No. I was leaving you to your thoughts for a minute. You should know that I wouldn't leave you unprotected in the woods when there could possibly be someone looking to harm you." He gently grabbed her wrist and brought her closer to him. "And besides, I still have something else that I have to show you." He kissed her on the lips and took her by the hand, leading them back to the manor. Tiffany wondered what else he had to show her and was surprised when he just led her to the living room where Madison and Dante were sitting. "I'll be back."

She watched as he made his way up the stairs and sighed. This man was certainly full of surprises today. Turning around, she sat down beside Madison and frowned up her face. "What the hell are you eating?" Madison looked down at her bologna and peanut butter sandwich and smiled.

"It's good. Dante made it for me. Do you wanna taste?" Tiffany turned her head to Dante when she saw that he was fiercely shaking his head no and smiled.

"Uhh... judging by the way Dante is looking right now and shaking his head, I think I'll pass." Shrugging her shoulders, Madison went back to eating her food. "He's just mad because I interrupted our sex because the baby was hungry. Doesn't matter though. More for me." Tiffany chuckled and looked over at Dante who glared at Madison before looking at her.

"What?" Dante kept his eye on Tiffany before smiling and looking away. He reached over and brought Madison closer to his side.

"Nothing. You just seem different. You're still guarded, but you are different." Tiffany thought about what he said and had to agree. She did feel like the load on her shoulders wasn't as heavy as it was before. She knew it was because of her little breakthrough with Daniel, but she also knew that she still had to get through one more barrier in order to be completely free of the burden. Dante's voice knocked her out of her thoughts and she focused on what he was saying. "You know, I remember the day when I first met you. You weren't that nice." Tiffany laughed at this.

"It wasn't that I was not nice, I was just a little rough around the edges." Dante looked at her pointedly then burst out laughing.

"Rough around the edges my ass, you were mean. But back to what I was saying, you have grown up and I'm proud to almost call you my sister." He let go of Madison so that she could get up, then scooted to the edge of the couch. "I will say that both you and Daniel can learn from each other though. Let's face it. You both have emotional pain that you guys refuse to let go for some reason. I'll tell you now that your relationship with my brother will not go far if you two don't let it go. You can have little talks here and there and shed some tears, but until you let it go in your heart, all of that will be in vain. Daniel always figured that if you just talk things out then everything will return to normal, but we both know that's not the case. I know I sound repetitive, but it's because I really want to get it through your mind so that you can hopefully get it through his thick skull." He took in a deep breath then leaned back against the couch. Tiffany watched him for a minute, thinking he was going to say something next, but instead he reached for the remote and changed the channel.

She turned and looked out the window and once again thought over what he said to her. Everything he said was true, but she didn't know how or even if it would ever happen. The thought of never having a healthy and completely honest relationship with Daniel scared her and she just hoped that they could get through whatever was blocking their paths. Chewing on her bottom lip, she cursed under her breath. Damn Dante for always being so deep! She glanced over at Dante, who was now cuddled up with Madison and rose up from where she was sitting. She needed to talk to Daniel.

Alessia swore under her breath as she rose up from scrubbing the floors. It has only been a day and she was already feeling the pain. She looked around and sighed when she realized everyone else was already done with their duties and threw her sponge in the water beside her. Leaning back on the wall closest to her, she brought up her knees and laid her head in between them, wrapping her arms around her legs.

She hated this. She hated the fact that she was demoted. She hated the fact she had to share a room with another girl and sleep in a small bed. She hated the fact that she had to clean all damn day. However, most of all, she hated herself. If she would have seen how her actions were not only annoying other people, but potentially ruining their lives, she would have at least tamed them down a little bit, but no. She had to be that girl who would never learn her lesson until it was too late. She felt tears start to burn the back of her eyes and placed the heel of her hand them, trying to stop tears from coming down in vain. She was being weak right now, but she couldn't help it. She was so busy trying to not cry, that she didn't hear anyone approaching her.

Moe looked down at the girl on the floor crying and was about to walk right pass her, but something compelled him to stop and see if she was okay. Before he could think about it, he was kneeling in front of her trying to get her to remove her hands from her eyes. "Come on. I just want to see that you are okay." He gentle pulled her hands back and was shocked at who he saw. The last person he thought he would see crying on the ground was Alessia. His first instinct was to hop up and run, but for some reason leaving her there to cry didn't settle well with him. "It's okay. What's wrong?" He reached up and started to wipe her tears away with his thumb, once again surprised by his actions.

Alessia didn't know why she was letting some random guy be her saving grace, but it felt right. She didn't know if it was because of her high emotion levels, but the next thing she knew, she was in his arms crying. She felt him start to rub her back and tightened her hold around him, letting the soft timber of his voice calm her.

"I just-I didn't-I don't know-" Moe listened to Alessia's blabbering and wondered what she was talking about. Lightly pushing on her, he placed some space between them so that he could see her and lifted her head so that he was looking into her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Alessia looked at him and realized what just transpired between them.

"I'm so sorry." Moe scooted back when Alessia hastily rose up from in front of him and grabbed the bucket sitting beside them. He watched as she ran down the hall and wondered what got her so jumpy all of the sudden. He knew that she was calming down when he was consoling her. He could tell just by the way her breathing pattern was changing. He stood up and looked down the hall she ran, fighting the urge to find her and make sure she was fine. Running his hands through his hair, he turned around and headed towards his room.

James took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. Ever since he saw Tiffany and Daniel, he had been running tests on Tiffany's blood over and over again to make sure what he was seeing was correct. "This is impossible." He spread out each test results and shook his head. He was knocked out of his trance when he heard a knock at his door and told the person on the other side to come in without looking up. As soon as his senses were hit with the sweet fragrance of honey and citrus, he already knew who it was.

Slowing lifting his head, he looked into the blue-green eyes of Alexandra and smiled. "How can I help you?" He felt his heart speed up when she bit her bottom lip, an action he knew she did when she was nervous.

Alexandra sat down on the seat across from him and looked down at her hands. "Have... have you ever thought about how our future would have been?" James looked at Alexandra briefly before casting his eyes down at the papers in front of him. He didn't know how to answer her question without stepping over boundaries that weren't meant to be stepped over at the time. However, he was definitely not going to lie to her.

"Always." Alexandra felt her throat start to tighten and cleared it. She didn't know why she came down here. She knew all of the answers to her questions, but needed to hear him say them. She looked up at him and saw that he was battling with his own emotions and let out a shaky breath.

"How do you think it would have been?" James felt that burning in the back of his eyes and looked away. He didn't want her to see how affected he was by the decision he made. There wasn't a day that went by when he didn't think about how the future would have been for them. Clearing his throat, he placed his glasses on and resumed looking at Tiffany's files. He needed to do anything to keep his mind off the topic.

Alexandra watched as he looked down at the papers in front of him as if he was intently reading them. As moments went pass, she realized he wasn't going to answer and took it a step further. "Do you even still love me?"

James stopped what he was doing at this and looked at her angrily. "You of all people should know the answer to that question. Now if you will excuse me, I have work to do." He went back to reading over the files, hoping that she got the hint and left. If she asked him another question, he was bound to tell her too much. He sighed in relief when she got up from the chair and walked to the door. Just as she was about to leave, he heard the one thing that he didn't want to hear. "I still love you."

**

Tiffany walked into Daniel's room and was surprised to see that the curtains were drawn and the room was lighted with candles. She heard water start in the bathroom and figured that was where Daniel was. Walking over, she stopped in the doorway and watched as he added bubble bath to it.

"I thought I told you I would be back?" Daniel set the bottle to the side and turned around. He slowly made his way over to Tiffany and looked down at her. "You really don't listen, do you?" He reached up and lightly ran his index finger along her collarbone. He moved his hands to the back of her neck and lightly massaged it.

Tiffany closed her eyes and luxuriated in the message Daniel was giving her, letting a low groan escape from her lips. "You need to relax." Tiffany nodded her head in agreement and lifted her arms so that Daniel could take off her shirt. She sighed when he turned her around and kissed her on back of her neck and leaned into him. Her bra and jeans came off next and before Tiffany knew, she was standing in her underwear.

Daniel continued to kiss on her neck, enjoying the little sounds she was making and turned her around. He gently grabbed her arm and looked to make sure she was all healed, happy that she was. Reaching his fingers up into her hair, he pulled it up and tied it. "Wouldn't want you to get your hair wet." Tiffany nodded her head, not really knowing exactly what he was saying and moved to kiss him. She was surprised when he stopped her and watched as a twinkle appeared in his eyes.

Daniel looked down at her semi nude body and had a better plan than just stripping her and leaving her to take her own bath. He stepped back and leaned against the sink counter. "I want you to dance for me."

Tiffany stared at him, seeing if he was really serious. 'Yup. He is.' She took a hesitant step back and nervously started to play with her fingers. "I don't know what you want me to do."

Daniel pushed off the sink and took a step towards Tiffany. He looked down at her and smiled when he saw that she was nervous in front of him and kissed her nose. "You don't have to dance for me yet, but know that you will dance for me many times once we are mated. I'm going to make sure of that." He went to turn off the water and started to undress himself.

Once he was nude, he stepped inside of the tub. He reached out his hand for her and frowned when he saw that she was still in her underwear. She must have noticed this too because she quickly discarded them and stepped forward to take his hand. He helped her into the tub and moved her in between his legs. Reaching over, he grabbed the loofah that was sitting on the edge of the tub and started to bathe her body in water. He felt himself get harder when he saw her nipples pucker and kissed her on the side of her neck to stop from mating with her in the tub.

After a moment of silence passed between them, Daniel decided to break the ambiance that was around them. "Is this a good repayment for everything that I put you through today?"

Tiffany nodded her head, not exactly caring what he was saying. She just didn't want him to stop lathering her body. She turned her head and smiled at him, catching the way his eyes shifted from her breast to her face. "Yes. This is a very good repayment. I don't know how I am going to pay you back."

"I can think of a few ways." Tiffany rolled her eyes at him and lightly hit him on the chest.

"Shut up. I'm sure you can think of a few ways, but that doesn't mean that I would agree to those ways." Daniel looked at her challengingly for a moment before placing a wolfish smile on his face and grabbing the soap.

"Never say never babe. Now turn around so that I can wash your back." Tiffany turned and let him wash her back. She turned around again when it was time to wash her front and placed her legs on the sides of his hips. She felt the tip of his cock almost breach her entrance and shuddered.

Daniel kissed her lips and smiled. "Not yet babe. You'll know when it's time." He then continued washing her body, making sure to thoroughly wash her breasts. He smelt her arousal start to fill the air and moved her closer to him, so that his cock was just entering her. He knew that he was teasing both her and himself, but damn if it didn't feel good. He heard her heartbeat quicken and reached up to tweak her nipples, causing a moan to escape her throat. Rinsing her breast off, he told her to move back then regretted it when his cock slipped out of her. Just being barely inside of her felt good.
