That last thought spurred her to action. Not thinking, refusing to think about the consequences, she dropped all pretence at dignity and ran out through the main doors of the hotel. She vowed she would never return!

So Kim is the mystery character you alluded to! I do agree with Masterfuljim that his chapter has more of a non-consent/reluctance feel to it. Now she is running; can I assume that she'll return? Will this be a story inside this story; a parallel story line, or be spun off to a completely separate story between Myles and Kim?more...
