Click hereElunara shivered. "It will be awful." Shaking herself, she sighed. "But it is what it is. I love them with every fiber of my being and I HATE; absolutely HATE the thought of any of them coming to harm. I love them. This is the truth. I love Varian, with all that I am, because that is WHO I am now. I'm no longer that broken husk, waiting for her next meal of men. I am Elunara. My husbands are Grogek and Jordan, my wife is Tulani, and soon, oh, so VERY soon, my husband will ALSO be Varian. That tiny nugget of truth makes my existence worth living."
The entire area erupted into cheers and clapping.
Elunara jolted and her board clattered to the ground. "Dear GODS, people!" She put a hand to her chest. "Don't DO that!"
Varian scooped her up and claimed her mouth for his own. She wrapped her arms around his neck and went for it. The crowd went nuts.
Later that night, Elunara lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. "Wow..."
Varian chuckled and kissed her temple. "I had to show my appreciation."
"I'm not sure I can move my... anything."
"I'd take advantage of the situation... if I could move either." He cuddled up to her. "I think he finally understands." He ran his hand over her belly.
"Good." She curled up under his arm. "I'd rather your son like me, at least a little... instead of resenting my existence."
"I agree." He chuckled and fiddled with her hair. "Since you're too exhausted... this is the best time to tell you, they require a coronation ceremony as well."
"Fuuuuuuuck..." She whimpered. "Why can't you maniacs just accept proclamations?"
"Damned if I know." He snorted.
he is a priest mainly because if you played far enough into jade forest you see him mind control the dwarven SI-7 agent then escape. The bubble you seen makes me think his priestly training is as a discipline priest being they specialize in making those powerful bubbles that mitigate a lot of damage.
Anduin is supposed to be a priest as I see him. Also, You'll like the "future" Anduin.
Yes, Anduin has been through a lot, I even mention that, but he JUST got his dad back, and this lunatic that he barely understands has , in his mind, taken his dad away again. That would cause a bit of anger and resentment. In the end, I think he comes to understand and possibly love Elunara as well as can be expected in his strange situation.
Hope I am not way off base here, I stopped playing half way through the pandora expansion. What I saw of Anduin was a really cool if not a little naive kid. He's a kid who's mother was murdered and his dad disappeared. His closest counselor turned out to be a crazy giant black dragon. Not trying to be derogatory but please write him as a little more understanding. He is a paladin last I saw and for what she does healing wise that should go a long way, any way just a suggestion. Keep up the great work!
That was a beautiful chapter and I'm so happy that Anduin is finally making the effort to understand Elunara. If she ever gets her own temple in the future and people start adopting her outlook and guidelines, Azeroth would be an even more interesting place.
Especially that bit about her kids not having to be of her own body. So true!
And that's the beauty of love - if you are unfortunate to be born into a crappy family, you can chose to create your own, new family.
Awesomely done!
