We got up, brushing the leaves off, and I pulled his arm over my shoulders to help support him. We made it back to the camp where some of the pack had set up all the tents. John was there and pointed us to the tent that was ours. I let Kyle in and settled him on one of the sleeping bags. I gave him a soft kiss and he fell asleep almost instantly. I lay down beside him and snuggled in, passing out myself.
