"Yes. I didn't see his corpse down there, so he must have left by a secret passage that I didn't know about. He will bring more of the Sons with him, when he returns. The Sons will not take this transgression against one of their strongholds lightly," the young man warned.

"So, he'll send reinforcements?" Luke asked.

"He will. He won't let what is here fall into the wrong hands and if we don't act quickly, any advantage gained by wiping out the chapter in this city, will soon be gone," Darren finished.

"I can handle that," Karla piped up from the group.

"How?" Phalmina wondered.

"My aunt has a team of men on standby. She was going to send them away, but one phone call and I will have her here with the crew she has to help," Karla stated.

"Can your aunt be trusted?" Daelina asked, playing the devil's advocate.

"It was my aunt who told me the stories of Gaia and the magic that exists in nature. She is the one who taught me to believe in Gaia, over anything else," Karla replied sincerely.

"There is one thing, but it can't be done here! We have to go back to the glade and perform the ritual of Awakening on her!" Phalmina told them.

"There aren't enough of us to do it!" Daelina replied.

"You can't be suggesting..." Jason started before the fairy cut him off.

"My dad's car should be here. Darren, where is it and where are the keys?" Amy demanded.

Darren led them to a small lockbox nearby, which held keys of the order who had been there. He found his father's keys and handed them to his sister, who snatched them from him and followed him to the garage. They found the white Mercedes, and everyone piled in, with the fairies shrinking down to their usual size so everyone could fit.

The door slammed shut; the engine turned over, and the car tore out of the property, racing down the roads. Darren watched them leave, and he sighed to himself, wondering what would happen now. "Is it done?" Elizabeth asked, as the fairies helped Eva down to the ground.

"No. What we did was calm the magic down, keeping it from running wild. Now the Awakening ritual has to happen for her magic to right itself," Daelina explained.

"What needs to happen in this ritual?" Amy inquired.

"Both the one helping with the Awakening and the one being Awakened must be prepared with magic, so their minds are open to Gaia's touch. Eva is ready, as her magic is already free, but it needs to be anchored. That's where Jason comes in," Phalmina told them.

"What does Jason do in all of this?" Elizabeth asked.

"He needs to be prepared with the specific energies, before he copulates with Eva. It's the only way we will save her in time," Emalia told her.

"He's going to..." Amy asked, shocked.

"Yes. It is something that is both beautiful and sacred to Gaia, as it is the way to celebrate and bring new life into this world," Daelina told the human women.
