"Her opponent tonight entering from the main aisle," the spotlight illuminated the aisle behind the spectators, as a behemoth of a woman dressed in a pink tube top, a pink mini-skirt, and wearing pink boxing gloves made her way down to the ring. "Standing at 6' tall and weighing in at 369 pounds is the eighth wonder of the world, Big, Bad Bertha."
Big, Bad Bertha made her way down the center aisle to the booing of the crowd. Bertha crunched down the top rope and instead of going under, stepped over it. The difference in size was ridiculous. Mary Elizabeth's saving salvation was that she was a black belt in Karate. Big Bertha was, well, just big, really big.
A few days before the fight, when Brenda woke up and looked out her bedroom window, there parked in the driveway was a brand new, shiny, metallic orange Corvette convertible with two-tone orange and black leather interior and a six speed transmission. Only, the car keys were attached to 5 tickets to the Girls' Fight Club for Saturday night, one ticket for Brenda, Andrea, Brenda's mom, sister, and Freddie.
There in the shadows watching and waiting for the action to begin while waiting for their turn to fight stood Brenda, her best friend, Andrea, her Sister Audrey, and her mother, Diane.
