A word of advice though, to the younger generation. Don't underestimate Senior Citizens. Sexual desire or ability doesn't automatically die at age fifty or sixty or seventy. Maybe not even at eighty or ninety. One is as old or as young as he feels. The sex may carry a handicap or two and it may not be that of lusty twenty somethings, but...

Anonymousover 15 years agoInflatable penis implants work really well for erections. Fortunately I don't have most of his problems, just diabetes, so the arousal/orgasm/ejaculation works just fine with or without the erection -- I just use the prosthesis for penetration purposes. Unfortunately I lost a bit of sensitivity as part of the operation, so I rarely come from intercourse these days, but hey, I'm happy.
Anonymousover 15 years agoCaprine, I have a 50th high school class reunion coming up in September. I hope beyond hope that the girl who wrote me the "dear John" and ended our engagement while I was in Vietnam years ago will be there. I still love her and will until the day I day. I have been married to another woman for 47 years and she has been a millstone around my neck for that whole time. I'd rather have one month of happiness with Beverly as I had live to be a hundred married to my present wife. She's a good woman but I don't love her. It was a place to get a nut. That's about it.
Thanks for writing this story. Old memories die hard. The situation with Beverly might have been a miserable one and everytime I walked out the front door, I'd have to have been concerned about someone else coming in the back doior as I left but I guess it is the not knowing if we both could have been happy together that keeps gnawing at my very soul.
