From having the affections of all of those women, it's the one woman that he lost and the one woman he could no longer have was the one woman that he wanted. She wondered who the woman was who haunted him enough for him to not only pine after her for all these years but also to look for her.

"Sure Jerry. I'll take you home. I'll get you home. Don't worry. I've always wanted to see Boston anyway. Only," said Ginny figuring that was a deal breaker. "I don't have a car. Maybe we can take the bus to Boston on a one-way ticket."

He looked at her to give her a sad smile while patting her hand.

"It doesn't matter how I get there, by car or by bus, as long as I get there," said Jerry. "There are just some places that you know you need to go when the time comes."
