Shaking her head she closed her eyes, wishing she could make the image go away. "I can't help it, she smiled at you the very same way you did me just a second ago and it reminded me," she whispered, "I don't want to be like her ever," she said faintly.

Sitting up he shoved his hand into his hair, leaning back against the headboard frustrated, yanking the sheet up to cover the raging arousal she'd created. "Gypsy you'd never be like her. Amanda collects men as a way of making herself feel as if she's still young and beautiful. She didn't mean anything then or now," he grumbled meeting her eyes seeing the suspicion in them.

"Oh so she was nothing but a good time and now doesn't mean anything," she said with a forced laughed, "Nice to know you think nothing of using what you feel you want then throwing it to the side when you're done," she sighed, sitting up Indian style in the middle of the bed wrapping the silk shirt around her tightly glaring at him.

"Do you have any idea how damn annoying you can be?" he snapped at her. "When you wake up you're hungry right?" he asked not waiting for an answer, "Well when I wake up I'm also hungry I need to feed to keep my strength up the same as everyone else. It just happened that one night I'd been busy and Amanda was there and more than willing to offer herself to my needs," he almost groaned, seeing her eyes narrow.

"Now wouldn't that be something for some of the little 'tricks' Amanda taught you and you now trying to use them on me," she snorted turning her nose up.

Caydn laughed loudly, "I can assure you Gypsy that there's little Amanda could've taught me that over my life time I hadn't experienced or witnessed," he grinned at her, laughing when she gasped snapping her head back around to him so quickly he thought he heard her neck snap.

"So now you're no better than a gigolo whose slept with every woman he could get his hands on over how ever many years you've been dragging women into your bed," she snarled.

Shaking his head with a sigh he met her stare before sliding down in bed, reaching for her yanking her against his body before he curled on his side his arm pinning her length against him.

"It's the middle of the afternoon and I don't have the time nor the patience for this I need to sleep," he said exasperated, "Gypsy you're going to stay right where you are and let me sleep, if you had any sense you'd close that damn mind of yours and sleep also," he said grinding his teeth together, when her silk covered ass wiggled against the entire length his cock.

Reaching down he grabbed her hips, his fingers brushing gently against the lace covered heat between her thighs accidentally causing her to go dead still instantly. "Now hold still and stop wiggling that ass of yours against me or I'm not going to be responsible for what happens if you keep driving me out of my mind," he growled at her, "Now good night Gypsy," he snapped, "Sleep," he said firmly taking a deep breath when he heard her sigh knowing he'd pushed her since she wasn't willing to do it herself.

***************************

The bedroom door was open when she woke. She heard Caydn's voice in the other room. Climbing out of bed she grabbed her clothes, going into the bathroom to get changed and freshen up.

He'd just hung up when she walked out of the bedroom her eyes avoiding his. "I just spoke to Sophie and told her that I'd be driving you home as soon as you were ready," he said casually.

She walked over to the love seat to get her jacket before looking up at him, "there's no need you have things you need to do I'm sure I can drive myself home and not get lost," she said softly.

"What is it 'I'd need' to do?" he asked leaning back against the counter dividing the living area and kitchen. "Ah yes that nasty habit I have of feeding I'm sure that's what your talking about but no need to worry I've already taken care of that while you were sleeping," he said turning to grab her keys, walking past her to the door.

"The garage attendant is a very handy man to have around for more things than valet parking should the need arise," he chuckled when she side stepped him while he held the door open for her.

"I should've known now I'd be seen as a taker of the innocent, some one who pillages from those around me with little thought to them," he snapped bitterly when they stepped out of the elevator into the garage. Seeing Thomas he waved before taking her arm and leading her to her SUV.

"As you can see Gypsy Thomas is none the worse for wear from my terrible inhuman habit," he glared at her, "in fact the man's in better shape than he's ever been, since a few times I've been able to alert him to a potential health issue. He and I also enjoy discussing stocks and bonds he's purchased, he and his wife have a rather comfortable nest egg once he decides to retire," he said closing the passenger door he'd been holding for her.

She heard Caydn tell Thomas that he'd be leaving his car for a few weeks so not to be alarmed if he didn't see him. She felt the flush covering her cheeks when it hit her she was doing the same thing to Caydn people had done to her all her life, judging her for being different. She looked out the window when he got behind the wheel, her throat so dry she didn't know if she'd be able to speak even if she hadn't been embarrassed to.

He reached over pulling the sleeve of her jacket until he could reach her hand. Threading her fingers through his he squeezed gently. "There's no need to be embarrassed Gypsy, I guess I don't like people assuming or making conclusions anymore than you do," he said quietly.

Caydn stopped at the gate, phoning the house asking Sophie to open the garage door for him before they pulled in. Parking in the large garage where his sports car had previously been he smiled handing her the keys.

He got out of the SUV, walking to a shelf. "Here's the remote I never had a chance to give you, put it in the car and you'll have it," he said turning walking toward the house.

She walked into the kitchen a few minutes later having taken the remote, putting it above the sun visor of her SUV. She stopped quickly seeing the room full of people, one she'd never seen before a beautifully exotic looking woman Caydn was holding tightly laughing.

The hair on the back of her neck stood on end when all of the strong thoughts bombarded her having forgotten that all but Sophie and Vince were different. Forcing a smile at Sophie she turned closing the door, taking a deep breath wishing she could think of an excuse to walk through the room ignoring everyone and escaping. The pit of her stomach twisted thinking of turning back around, seeing Caydn and the lovely woman still entwined.

"Caydn I'd appreciate it if you'd get your hands off my wife," Micah said with a laugh meeting his brother's eyes quickly letting him know he'd sensed the change in Gypsy.

"Gypsy when you're done hanging your coat please come and let me introduce you to Samantha," Micah said pulling the gorgeous petite woman to his side making her laugh when Caydn glared at him.

Samantha heard the thoughts she knew Gypsy must've been trying to hide since they were just a whisper, earlier she'd been warned that Gypsy projected unknowingly most of the time. Stepping forward she took Gypsy's hand, "I'm very pleased to finally meet you after hearing so much about you from everyone here," she said motioning to Jazleen and Phillip sitting at the table, Sophie and Vince along the other side of the table.

"These brother's are such a pain don't mind them," she said softly grinning at Gypsy seeing her blush slightly, "From what I hear from Jazleen I'm going to be spending much of my time at your new shop with her having you design some items for me also," she said pulling Gypsy to the table, toward the seat beside hers.

Sophie squeezed Vince's hand seeing Samantha take over making Gypsy feel more comfortable. "Gypsy I was out running some errands and making some calls for Christian today, while I was at it I called and had the power scheduled to be turned on at the shop tomorrow," she said smiling at her niece, "I hope that's okay?"

Smiling her thanks Gypsy looked quickly at Jaz, "how's Megan?" she asked her voice just above a whisper.

Jazleen leaned back in her chair glancing at Phillip before laughing, "I went and stayed with her for a few hours earlier this evening, she seems to be doing fine other than a few wrinkles along the way," she assured her.

Laughing Gypsy nodded, "I had a funny feeling once Vince told me about everything and it dawned on me what Christian had done, his life wasn't going to be as simple as he thought," she chuckled glancing at Caydn, "you think I'm stubborn Christian hasn't seen anything until Megan sets her mind to something," she explained.

"You couldn't be more right," Jaz laughed, "Megan seems to be very taken with Christian, she just seems to think his going about the healing and transformation was 'barbaric' I think she called it, she's not happy he didn't ask her first," she grinned.

Phillip leaned forward, "I don't envy you Caydn with Megan and Christian living in the estate next door. Something tells me until Christian gets her in hand things will be less that peaceful," he said his voice fading, realizing every woman had turned to glare at him. Shrugging his shoulders he pulled Jazleen against his side, "As if you'd have it any other way my dear," he brushed a kiss on her temple.

"When can I see her?" Gypsy asked Jazleen.

Jazleen glanced at Phillip, then Micah and Samantha, she laughed, "I think tomorrow night might be a better bet, I've a funny feeling the crash we heard when leaving was more than just that large empty house echoing but something solid meeting something else solid, the grunt we heard did sound like Christian," she rolled her eyes.

"She did want me to ask you if you'd help her look over some estate sale items since the house is empty for the most part," she told Gypsy, "Momma's found a few that if you'd like you, Sam, momma and I can check out while the men and daddy go off to the study and do their manly things, talk business drink or what ever it is they do when we aren't around," she grinned.

Gypsy looked at the clock and then at each of the women, "at this hour?" she asked.

Samantha laughed, "One of the joys of living abroad is people don't think twice when an 'eccentric' Europeans call and asks to have their odd hours accommodated," she grinned, "Sophie acts as our translator if they get annoyed over our requests," she explained.

Gypsy looked down realizing she was still wearing the same clothes she'd left in the night before, "if you think you can give me time to grab a shower and change then sure I'm in, I'll drive and Sophie can navigate," she laughed standing up, brushing past Caydn without a word.

Micah leaned against the counter watching his brother stare at the empty doorway Gypsy had just walked through. "Well from the silence between the two of you and your brooding stare, am I correct in assuming last night or should I say today didn't go as well as it could've?" he asked laughing when Caydn spun toward him his eyes glowing with annoyance.

"Micah I'd prefer it if you'd stop speaking about our niece as if she were some cheap woman one of you would've picked up for fun," Sophie said with a frown, pushing back from her chair before turning and walking out of the room.

Micah looked at Vince his expression shocked, "Vince I wouldn't ever say anything like that I hope you know that," he said glancing toward Samantha, "I have the greatest respect for women, Samantha can attest to that. I'm just enjoying our boy Caydn here wallowing in the fact that he's hopelessly entangled with Gypsy but neither of them are willing to admit it," he grinned a sheepish smile at Vince.

Vince couldn't help but laugh at Micah's smile and the murderous expression clouding Caydn's face. "The two of you'll never change will you?" he shook his head, "Don't mind Sophie right now Micah she's still having a hard time dealing with everything that happened, this talk of Megan possibly not being happy with the events and situation that's taken place makes her feel as if there should've been something done to prevent it," he explained.

"I'll talk to her tonight while it's just us women daddy," Jazleen smiled at her father, "I think I might've been the one to cause some of that worry so I'll be the one to take it away," she leaned over wrapping her arm around his shoulder.

"Phillip I expect you to help daddy to the study, if he should get tired I want you to make sure he lays down so momma doesn't have to lecture all of you when we get back," she said firmly toward her husband.

"Who would've ever thought an ancient like Phillip would sit back, calmly as a tall gorgeous woman dictated to him," Christian said opening the kitchen door, stopping reaching behind him as he spoke gently. Stepping to the side he pulled Megan against him, his arm around her shoulders while she looked at everyone in the room some what shyly.

Jazleen jumped up hurrying to the door, "Christian would you get out of the way so Megan can come in," she frowned at him taking Megan's hand squeezing it gently. "Megan Gypsy's going to either scream with happiness seeing you or faint," she laughed hugging Megan tightly for a second.

Taking a deep breath she looked around the room meeting all of the silent nods of approval from everyone before letting it out. "Well where's she at?" she said with a grin.

Christian closed the door behind them, "Since she's not in the room and Caydn keeps glaring at the door way I'd say she's either in the hallway or upstairs in her room," he chuckled brushing a kiss across her cheek.

"If you'd excuse me I have to go visit Gypsy and make sure she's okay since I've learned I can only believe half of what this moron tells me, even then I have to weigh my options," she winked at Christian. She stepped beside Caydn. "Is she upstairs?" she asked softly, silently thanking him when he nodded.

Jazleen sat down in Phillip's lap so Christian could take her chair at the table, "I didn't think she was going to be up to going with us tonight?" she asked concerned he'd pushed the issue.

Christian glanced around the room before shrugging, "Well I'm sure that when you left this evening you heard some rather odd noises," he said frowning when she nodded fighting to hide her smile, "I think it would be safe to say that it was my being overly protective and Megan has been more than ready and willing to get out and escape being trapped with no one but me," he admitted glaring at Micah who laughed. "I certainly hope there's a damn good excuse for you to be here other than your bringing the lovely Sam for our attentions," he said reaching to lift Sam's hand bringing it to his lips brushing a kiss on her fingers while Micah growled bordering on savagely.

Caydn shook his head, "Christian it would seem my home's become the meeting place of the mentally challenged so if you'd please keep from having your blood spilled on my floor and giving Sophie something else to stress over you'll behave," he snapped staring at his friend before turning to glare at his brother, "And you contain it or you'll find yourself staying in my apartment among the chaos while Sam's welcome to stay at the estate."

"I see things are not going any better with Gypsy than they were before I removed myself and Megan from the house," Christian said with a subtle smile and chuckle, "you should try my methods," he laughed seeing Caydn's brows snap to his hair line. "Okay maybe not exactly the same but stop giving the girl so much room to turn you inside out."

"Well hello Christian," Sophie said walking back into the kitchen, "I'm so glad you convinced Megan to join us tonight but I'm going to tell you the same thing I just told everyone else," she said stopping beside him, her hands on her slender hips. "Leave Gypsy and Caydn alone and stop trying to push the two of them together," she said firmly.

"Jaz would you please go see what's keeping Gypsy and Megan so we can get this shopping trip started," Sophie said leaning down to kiss Vince's cheek, "You don't over do it dear," she said gently.

Gypsy laughed her sides hurting as she ordered everyone a large coffee at the all night drive through. "Can you imagine the look on Christian's face when we tell him you've bought three houses full of furniture?" she giggled handing the girl at the window exact change, rolling up the window of the large SUV Caydn offered them for comfort.

"Momma, Phillip told me they've helped daddy to bed, he's going to read until we get back," Jaz said leaning forward touching Sophie's arm. "As soon as all of us house guests leave you and daddy can get back to your normal schedule," she chuckled hugging her gently.

"Don't be silly it's been nice having a house full of people even if all of you keep odd hours," Sophie said squeezing her daughters hand, glancing at Gypsy when she pulled into the long drive of the estate. "Megan I have to admit it's going to be nice having someone around to gossip with and to keep Gypsy company," she smiled glancing back at the young woman who was struggling to adapt to her new life style.

"I'm hoping Gypsy's going to need an assistant or a partner soon so I'll have something to do other than argue with Christian all the time," Megan grinned.

Gypsy looked in the rear view mirror meeting Megan's eyes, "You know with as much as I've already got scheduled, some time next week would be a great time to start if you're feeling up to it," she smiled, pulling into the garage.

Closing the garage door she saw Phillip, Micah and Christian coming out of the house greeting their women, each of them acting as if their being apart had been almost traumatic. Shaking her head she walked into the house, smiling when she saw Caydn leaning against the counter watching her.

"Sophie told me to tell you good night, she's gone in to check on Vince and to get some sleep," he said softly holding his hand out to her, pulling her against him when she took it.

"She's exhausted but wasn't about to admit it," she said resting her head against his chest softly, "I have to admit I had a great time but I could sleep for two days myself," she admitted with a yawn, "I'm almost glad their all going back to their own places tonight."

Leaning down he scooped her up into his arms, smiling when she gasped softly. Stopping near the doorway he waited for her to turn the light out in the large kitchen. Stopping in the foyer he looked down at her.

"Care to have a drink together before you go up?" he asked locking his eyes with hers.

She nodded, giggling when he walked into the dark study setting her down on the leather love seat before going to the small bar and pouring them each a brandy.

Scooting over a bit she made room for him, sitting down beside her, he pulling her gently against him her head resting on his shoulder. Raising her glass she touched it to his before taking a small sip of the burning liquor.

"I expect you're going to have things to talk about tomorrow night when Christian tells all of you about all the furniture Megan bought tonight," she chuckled.

"I might make it a point of escaping to the city then," he laughed softly, "Vince was telling me about the business space you've rented tonight, you hadn't mentioned it," he said glancing at her.

She nodded, "I thought it would be better for everyone involved if I had a place for customers and potential clients to go so I could get their measurements instead of strangers in and out of the house all the time," she explained.

Caydn leaned his head back against the edge of the couch, feeling as if a weight had been lifted from him, "I appreciate it Gypsy, we could've worked it out though if you ever change you're mind and think about having it here."
