“The HM 4000? My god! I had no idea they were so life like.”
“You have no idea, my friend,” I said as I walked past him and climbed up the ramp to my ride home.
I took a last look back down at HM. Bob was walking around her looking at her in disbelief. How well I remembered that same feeling. HM had not acknowledged Bob yet. She was staring up at me. Looking up at me she gave her nicest smile. I waved to her. She returned my wave. The manual had said the HM 4000 was capable of shedding tears. I could have sworn I saw some falling from her big round eyes on that last minute.
