Jemma picked up the phone, and when she heard Stephano's voice she knew something was wrong.

"What happened Stephano, what's wrong?"

"She left me, she got upset, and she left me."

Jemma screamed, "William pick up the phone, it's Stephano."

"Hello Stephano, what's up?"

"She left me William, she got upset, and she left me. I swear I didn't do anything wrong. It was a minor discussion over how she was acting, she went into the barn to think about it, and she ran away. She left me a note telling me I didn't care. That I had won, and now I was in control of everything. I didn't win anything, it was just a discussion over the way she was acting, and she ran. Our friends think she's on the verge of a nervous breakdown. After what she's been through lately, I believe they are right. She said for me not to try to find her, because it would be useless."

We are calling the local cops, and the state police. I don't know what else to do. Help me find her William, I will die without her.

"You swear you did nothing wrong."

"My friends were here with us, when we had the discussion. You can ask them. If you think I went over the line, I will take a gun, and in front of you, I will blow my brains out."

"I will get everyone I know to help you find my daughter. If she is in the smallest hole in this world, we will find her and get her help. I swear by everything you hold holy, you will have her back."

William called Washington, and pulled Michael out of his 2 o'clock meeting.

"William, what is so important that you had to pull me out of my meeting?"

"Do you have your stomach medication with you?"

"Always!"

"Take some and let me know when you're finished."

"Okay William, I just took two pills, what could be so terrible after we cleaned up everything last night."

"Patty left Stephano and is on the run. She told him not to try to find her. She is going into hiding again. His friends believe she is going to have nervous breakdown, because of everything that has been going on around her. She has about a two-hour head start on everyone. They have called the local police and the state cops. I am calling out all my people to help find her. Can you help?"

"Hang-up William, I have phone calls to make."

"Thank you Michael."

"God, if you are really there, and you can hear me, when I find this girl, I am going to put her over my knee and spank her. Then I'm going to put her in jail for the rest of her life. Come to think of it, I'll put my daughters in with her."

Michael called his wife at her office. "Dolores, I need you to close your office and come with me. Get someone to cover for you. We are taking the girls out of school for as long as necessary. I will have one of my people get their schoolwork, and have it transmitted to us. Patricia Valentino has run away again. Her friends think she is headed for a nervous breakdown. She knows you, and she loves the girls. I have a plan, and it involves the three of you. Please go home and pack for the four of us, for about one week. I will have their agents pull them from school now. They will take all of you to the airport and I will meet you there."

"All right, I will cancel the rest of my appointments for today, and have Judy have someone to cover for me. I will be home in less than an hour."

"Thank you babe, I'll see you at the airport."

Michael called the FBI headquarters in Albany and told them what he needed them to do. They told him they would have it ready for him when he arrived, and an 'All Points Bulletin' had been issued for Patricia and her car in the states of New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New Jersey. All crossing points from the United States into Canada were also put on high alert.

There was one thing they forgot. Rita had challenged Patty to learn to fly a helicopter by reading the manuals. She never thought she it was possible.

Patty was flying at 1000 feet heading south towards Mount Kisco, New York. At that altitude she did not have to contact Air Traffic Control, or turn on her transponder. No one knew who that little radar return on their screen was, and they weren't worried about it either. It was flying at 150 knots and away from all airways in the area.

When Paul and Rita got the call to go to New York to pick up William, and bring him back to Glens Falls, they rushed to the aerodrome and found the helicopter missing. They called Stephano and gave him the bed news.

"Steph, her car is here. She took the helicopter."

"Call Albany and make sure she doesn't take the jet."

"I'll take care of it right now."

Stephano told Brad and Bonnie that Patty was totally out of control. She could be anywhere by now. 2 ½ hours in a helicopter that can travel 200 miles an hour.

He said, "500 miles, we don't have a prayer in the world finding her. I have a feeling in my gut I will never see her again. After all we went through to get together, how could she think I would ever return to what I was."
