Hurricane Party

The camera cut to the brunette, looking a bit nervous though considering the height of the water and the state of the wind, he didn't blame her in the least. "As you can see the bay is looking quite rough in advance of the eye of this storm. The water has risen due to the tide coming in and most likely the surge will push it over. Residents are advised to remain in their homes if you have not yet evacuated. Wide spread power outages will be expected in the wake of this storm. If you still have power you are advised to fill your bathtubs with water to flush and ensure that you have drinking water available." She paused to lean into a particularly vicious blast of wind. "It's getting quite nasty out here. The waves are estimated to be two feet high and white capped. I'm Erin Glidden reporting live from the bayside, back to you Jim."

Scott faintly heard the voice of the male anchor telling her thanks and to stay safe out there. He finished the Miller and set it aside, noting the lights flickering but staying on for now. Having grown tired of the constant droning on of the anchors repeating the same drivel over and over, Scott flicked to a rerun of The Quick and the Dead on AMC and made himself comfortable on the couch.

With the last report made, the girls piled the equipment back into the car and jumped into their seats. Erin immediately shucked the soaked jacket to the back and bounced a little in her seat, anxious to be heading back to the station and coming off the high of actually being on live tv. "So now we're heading back to the station?"

"In a couple of minutes, they want to be sure that they don't need us out here anymore. But you did good enough," Krystal offered her a little smile. She couldn't help but notice that the cold water had seeped against the girl's white blouse and hardened a nipple visible even through the padding of her bra. Mentally she chided herself about fantasizing on the job and that she'd obviously been lacking in tending to her own needs.

Sighing at the letdown, Erin slumped in the seat, her eyes watching the waves crash into the sides of the low wall between the park and the bay. Occasionally one would slash over, spreading a thin, white layer of foam across the street. Quick actions from her lips clamping down stifled the giggle that threatened to come out, her mind playing the image before her. Ever since leaving college she'd had her nose to the proverbial grindstone and that had left little time for her to enjoy herself.

Not that having finally made it to an actual broadcast hadn't been worth it. However she'd really been looking forwards to the costume bar crawl that was now cancelled due to the storm. For a few brief hours she'd promised to allow herself the freedom to just enjoy life, and now her few friends were in the midst of having a hurricane party while she worked. Another nights plans foiled for now, she settled herself in to watch the bay and daydream of a life where she didn't have to always sacrifice her wants for her career.

"What's that?" Erin asked, snapped out of a lovely daydream involving Johnny Depp tied up to her bed in the buff.

"They texted me and said to come back to the station for now. Looks like we'll be in till after the storm is passing and they need people to report on the damage." Krystal breathed a sigh of relief, watching the waves crest the wall had been a little too much for her and she was looking forwards to being behind concrete blocks instead of thin sheet metal. Her fingers found the key and turned the ignition, waiting for the engine to kick over and in return only hearing the clicking of the alternator.

Wide-eyed she turned the key again, pumping the gas pedal in the desperate hope that somehow that would kick the engine over. Upon her ears she only heard the sounds of the alternator clicking in the desperate attempt to start. Her left hand came smashing down on the steering wheel, palm flat open, as she yelled, "NO NO NO! NOT NOW!!"

Erin sat there for a moment, not quite catching what was going on until she watched Krystal begin to beat the wheel, her eyes going wide. Out the windshield she glanced at the bay and then down at the pooling water upon the street. Glancing back at Krystal she took note the camerawoman was already on the phone with the station.

"Yes, yes. No, it's not starting. No, I have no idea why it's not starting, I'd guess the battery died. What do you mean...?" She sighed deeply after listening to something. "Yes, I understand. Put something white out the window and help will be by when they can. Yes, danger of the job, I understand. I'll see you when I get back in." Krystal looked over at Erin with a frown, "I guess you can figure out what they said about our particular situation."

Erin just nodded slowly, "they just want us to put something white outside of the window and wait for help to arrive?"

"Pretty much," she nodded in return and slipped out of her seat to begin looking for a white cloth. "More than likely that means we'll be stuck here till after the storm so might as well make yourself comfortable. But first we need to put a white cloth in one of these windo..." her eyes fell upon the only one she could think of existing within the van, Erin's white blouse.

Erin followed her eyes and looked down, realizing they were upon the damp, white shirt she had on. With a note of resignation she sighed and let her fingers come up to undo the buttons, "and this day just gets better and better." Shrugging her shoulders she grabbed the material and offered it up to Krystal, turning away as she didn't want to see the shirt shoved out the window, arms coming up to rub the sides of her chest from the chilly air.

Krystal cracked the window enough to push out the white blouse, then shut the window as hard as she could. Turning around she noted what Erin was doing and watched as the younger woman's' breasts came together and apart within their white bra as her arms moved. She could just make out the darker skin of her areola through the damp material on the left side where the logo of the girls jacket had let the water soak through. A bolt went to her pussy, feeling it grow a little damp at the sight as her mind began to wander. Quickly she stifled the idea of suggesting they put white out both windows and instead moved to grab her own jacket and wrap it around Erin's shoulders.

Back into her seat she settled, wrapping her arms around her waist while her gaze settled upon the rising bay. Krystal was doing her best to keep her fears down, not wanting to worry Erin more than necessary. To that she finally relented and allowed her mind to wander down the gutter, taking a breath and blowing it out slowly as she forced her body to relax. Eyes closed as she focused in on that dark skin upon the other woman's chest, imagining what it looked like upon her full chest, and how it would feel with her lips wrapped around it. Teeth came to her lower lip to bite back the moan as her mind played with the thought.

Krystal's body relaxed into the driver's seat of the van until a strong gust of wind rocked it on its' chassis, snapping her back to reality. Looking out the window she took note that the tide was seriously starting to come in, the water was sliding over the retainer wall and sloshing on the street below. Muttering to herself about being a fool girl for letting herself daze off, even encouraging her mind to do so, she looked that nervous young woman next to her and offered a little smile. "Well, it hasn't gotten quite up to the van yet. So far so good, right?"

Erin looked up from her phone, the latest radar map displayed upon it and slowly shook her head. "High tide isn't here yet and neither has the surge, or at least the majority of it. The eye's getting close though," she sighed heavily. "Looks like we'll be in for the brunt of it within the next twenty minutes. I'd consider going to some of the houses, but it looks like most of the people here took the warning, boarded up, and left. Imagine that, they actually listened for once."

"Yeah...imagine that," Krystal sighed in return, looking down and away so that she didn't have to watch the water steadily pouring over the wall. She felt drained, like all of the energy had been sucked out of her, and resigned to her fate. Shaking her head softly she curled her arms around her chest, pulling her legs up against herself as the rollercoaster of emotions took her on a lofty ride. Vision grew blurry as she could feel the tears forming in her eyes, the raw feeling of fear starting to overcome her. A glance to Erin and she noted the girl was in a similar position, too worried that they wouldn't find a safe place to run to so instead they stayed in the van, waiting. After a couple of minutes she whispered to Erin, "we should probably get into the back and away from the glass." The other girl nodded and together they got out of their seats, pulling a pair of cushions to the floor to sit upon. Krystal pressed her back against the electronics, using their extra bulk to shield herself, and curled her legs back against her chest, arms wrapping around them again.

It bothered her that she'd allowed herself to slip into fantasies and thoughts of indulging her wants instead of staying in reality. Yet, she held out hope that they would at least survive the oncoming storm. Having seen firsthand the damage that any sort of hurricane could bring Krystal was well aware what could be in store for them, and that they stood a decent chance at making it through this storm. It was the uncertainty though that was driving her to the brink, the concern that the unexpected could occur. She'd seen enough pieces of lumber driven through trees and vehicles, giant trees left uprooted, and cars carried away by flowing water to be worried that they would end up in a similar predicament.

Gently she rocked on her cushion holding her legs close to her body, head nestled between her knees. She'd given up being the strong one in the van, it seemed Erin was coming into her own, or lost into her technology. Krystal wasn't sure which one it was, but either way she was a bit envious as to how calm the younger woman had become. So lost into her own thought she nearly missed the pounding upon her door, mistaking it for the wind slamming them again, only this was absent the rocking feeling of the van.

The pounding came again, and first she glanced to Erin to be sure the girl heard it too, then allowed herself to pull up and out of the cushion, towards the drivers side door. The van was filled with her scream of joy as she saw a face peering into the van, the eyes of the man lighting up as they spotted her. Her fingers found and yanked the door latch open, swinging the door open enough that the face could peek into the van and yell, "Trick or Treat!"

After he'd watched the last report, Scott had settled into his movie, more in particular enjoying watching Sharon Stone in the western styled getup she had. When the power went out he'd gone and thrown all the breakers in the house save for a few lights to check when the power came back on. Passing by the window he had been surprised to see the news van still parked down the street from him. At first he'd planned on dismissing it, but movement by the window caught his eye, and a couple of seconds later he realized it was a white cloth that had been lodged into the window.

Training had kicked in at that moment, putting aside his own concerns for safety he'd gone and gathered up several ropes and a couple of lights. Those he shoved into the belly of his canoe and pushed the craft out a window into the rapidly rising water. Donning a pair of Muck boots, he followed the canoe out of the window. Once out of the safety of his home, he tied the bow of the canoe to his waist, dug a pair of trekking poles into the soft ground, and began the slow march through the water towards the van. The only time his eyes drifted from the van was to be sure a swirl wasn't a snake making its way across his path.

The water was only up to his mid-calves but he could feel the push every time the waves crested over the wall and flowed over the land. His back hunched over, the cord to the canoe yanking upon his hand but he wanted it in case someone had to be moved and floating them would be easier. Quietly he cursed the station for sending weather reporters out in the middle of the storm, but his concern for the people inside overrode his annoyance.

Reaching the van he peered in through the driver's window while his left hand pounded on the door. At first he didn't see any movement, but had hoped that if anyone was still within that they'd have sought shelter away from the windshield. He waited a few seconds then began to pound upon the door again, this time a little harder. Moments later he saw a flash of movement and then the excited shout of a woman within the van. When she opened the door he said the first thing that came to his mind, lips curling into a broad grin as he called out the Halloween favorite.

It didn't take long before the two occupants to the van scrambled out of it and into the cool water. As one vicious wave came over the wall, he had to lean out and catch the blonde as the wave caught her at the hips. Scott took note of how quickly the water was now rising, coming close to his knees and high enough now that he could feel the pull of the undertow each time the water receded. The van was creaking with the waves rushing against it, pushing against its heavy frame.

Skipping the greetings to save on time, he offered up the rope, giving a quick mime to tie it around their waists and turned to check out the pathway back. When he felt the tugs of the knots finishing, Scott glanced back at the duo and pointed out the way to his house. Taking hold of the canoe, he debated just having them climb in and then decided the waves were getting a little too harsh. Instead he used it to help keep his balance and noted within a couple of steps that he could feel them leaning against the buoyant shell as well.

Scott took his time picking his way back, holding back the urge to rush in order to be careful of the hazards floating through the water, primarily Halloween decorations. A foam tombstone floating by with the caption "Lost at Sea" earned a snort. Reaching his house, he slipped his fingers under the window, pushing it back open. He helped both women to slip in through the window, then pushed his canoe back inside before hoisting himself over the sill and back into the comfort of his home.

Onto his floor he flopped, taking a few moments to breathe in the air and not have to deal with the sea pushing upon his legs. "Getting too old for this shit," he muttered to himself. Once he'd caught his breath, Scott pushed himself to his feet, looking over at the two ladies who had both sat down at the kitchen table, catching breathing hard as well. "Hi, ummm sorry for the lack of introduction but it didn't seem like a good time to stand around and chat. Anyways, I'm Scott and you're welcome to stay here till the storm lets out and you can get a ride out of here. So, make yourselves at home and I'll see about getting you some dry clothes," quickly he made his way out of the kitchen, feeling a touch awkward about the whole thing.

Krystal was the first to recover from the long walk through the water. She leaned back against the hard, wooden chair, savoring the feeling of being indoors and warm. A little smile played upon her lips as she looked over at Erin, "damn, talk about some luck huh?"

Erin just nodded weakly to her, still breathing hard from the exertion. Her body had been earned by diet and staying away from all of the carbs that she could, not from exercise and currently she was regretting that. First thing I do when the storm is over is sign up for that gym membership through the station she thought as her chest heaved against the jacket, feeling her pulse finally begin to slow. Her back shuddered, unsure if it was from the chill of the water or the release of tension.

They both looked up when Scott returned to the room, nodding when he told them he'd put out some sweatpants and t-shirts on the bed of his guest room. Slowly Erin pushed herself up, "thank you," she got a little smile in return and he headed off towards the living room while the girls made their way down the hallway to the indicated guest room. Behind them, Krystal gently closed the doorway, stopping herself before locking it. She was tempted to do so, but the fear of offending him and the realization that a good, swift kick would most likely break down the door, stopped her.

Erin had already eyed up the dry clothes and anxiously began to strip out of her soaked clothing, putting it into a plastic hamper at the foot of the bed. The need to be rid of the cold, soaked clothes overcame her innate desires to be clothed around others and within a few seconds she found herself standing nude in front of Krystal. She took note that Krystal had only removed her t-shirt so far, standing still clothed in damp jeans and a teal bra. Erin also noted that Krystals eyes were lowered, staring at the spot where her torso met her thighs.

She wasn't sure what was coming over her, only that it was driven by lust and the joy of being free of the van. Erin stepped forwards to Krystal, in one smooth motion pressing her lips against the other womans' while guiding a hand to the spot she'd been staring at. Into the kiss she groaned as Krystal's fingers cupped and caressed her sex, her tongue slipping into Krystal's mouth. Free hands slipped back to undo that teal bra, sliding it forwards and down till she could feel her hard nipples press against her own bare skin.

Krystal had caught herself entranced at the smooth, shaved junction of Erin's legs, and had felt a blush rising upon realizing she'd been caught. About to stammer out an apology she'd instead found her mouth full of a warm, wiggling tongue, her fingers cupping that smooth junction. Instead of questioning what was happening she melted into the kiss, feeling her bra slip off her skin and the gentle crush of breast on breast. Gently she pushed Erin back to the bed, till her ass rested upon the edge. Softly breaking the kiss, she knelt down and placed her hands upon the insides of the girls thighs, gently coaxing them apart.

Her lips came down to the soft, shaved lips taking in a deep whiff of her scent before sliding her tongue out to taste her sweet juices. Hands caressed over Erin's soft thighs as she slowly worked her tongue up and down the slit. The moans she brought forth were magic to her ears though she quickly realized that many more would attract the attention of their host. Her lips turned to a grin as she thought up a way to muffle the moans, hand drifting down to undo her pants and shed them with her panties to the floor.

Rising up she gently pushed Erin back along the bed and climbed up to join her, placing her knees alongside the other woman's head. Dropping her torso down, she lowered her pussy to Erins' mouth then dipped her head back between her knees and resumed lapping upon the quivering, pink slit. Moans slipped from her throat and pressed to vibrate against the sensitive skin as she felt Erins' tongue part her labia and begin to lap upon her.

It didn't take much for either woman to be brought to orgasmic climax, shuddering as they held each other close, mouths buried against each other to stifle their moans. As she came down from the high of climax, Erin felt a bit of guilt creep up to her conscience, realizing where she'd just had sex. Given the chance to do it over again she admitted to herself that she'd go for it again. As she lay there, comforted in the feeling of another warm body resting upon hers, in the safety of the house, the lights went out.
