I awoke to no text from her, no email from her, no early morning phone call from the woman who, a few short hours ago, had been unable to leave me alone. I showered, dressed, breakfasted, and got ready to go to the office, feeling utterly alone. I saw that her BMW was already in its usual parking space when I arrived, and I hurried up the stairs of our office block, too impatient to wait for the elevator. Her office door was shut. I could see her through the window; she was standing, looking down at some papers on her desk. I stood for a while, hoping she would look up. She did not. I went to my own office, feeling cold, empty.
At first I didn't notice what was lying on my desk, and then a flash of deep scarlet caught my eye. One single red rose. Next to it a black box. I opened the box – it contained a string of pearls and a card. The card read: "You're the one. Love, Lauren" and my heart sang! I read the PS:
"By the way – welcome to the Lesbian Mile High Club!"

bigrimmstalesover 16 years ago...has been a strange result of this story. My partner and I sat and read this together. I was intrigued by its construction, she turned on by its description. We talked about love in the lesbian community and would it come so quickly off sexual, physical attraction and then arrived at a simple conclusion - it had for us in our unconventional bi-sexual, groupfest relationship, so why not? And then we decided something else - bottom line (can I say that? lol) it was one hell of an erotic story!!! Well done.
Anonymousover 18 years agoIt was a well written story. I would like to read Lauren's perspective on things even her feelings as to how she felt when she had to "light" into Marie. How she felt when Marie was doing her presentation. Most of all, what went through Lauren's mind when she caught Marie looking at her! Her perspective of things might be a hotter fire to kindle than Marie's! I think I'd like to read more about this relationship too!
