I nodded that I was. She pulled off her wedding ring and tossed it over her shoulder.
"My Mamita's gonna love you," she assured me.
I thought about it for a second and had to laugh inside ... I hoped she didn't love me too much.
"Come on!" She took my hand but I resisted. "What?"
I popped the tape of my Mother's adventures from the VCR and shoved it into her purse.
"Really?" She put her hands on her hips and tilted her head at me.
"A momento," I said, "of our first date."
She shook her head, grabbed my hand, and led me out of the rear service entrance of the bar and into the night.
I guess my Mom was right after all - I really was never coming back.
They lived happily ever after.

not that good
IF all these are connected then you need to retitle them using numbers so readers know what order to read them in. reading them out of order is confusing to say the least and makes readers give up and avoid you in the future due to your laziness with the titles. find a good editor and retitle these stories then they might be worth reading.more...

That was a little different than your usual. I'm not sure how to take it. It was also the first one that I noticed that didn't have some tie-in to your other stories. At least not yet. I still hope to see a little more girl-girl in your product; you're still a bit short on those.
