Shelly was frustrated to say the least. She sat back up in her seat and stared at him as he drove. How could he do this? How could he get her all riled up and then not follow through? She ran a hand through her hair as she began chewing on her thumbnail and stared out the window. Their conversation from earlier popped into her head. Was that what he was doing? Her body was absolutely humming with this unfulfilled need. She could still feel his hands on her, she was still so aroused. Was this supposed to be fun? The more she thought, the quicker she realized that yes, that was exactly what he was doing...letting the excitement and anticipation build. Instead of hating how turned on she was, she decided to revel in it. She closed her eyes and instead of trying to block out thoughts of being turned on, she embraced them. She ran her hands up and down her thighs, letting the friction from her skirt run through her skin. Shelly leaned her head back and closed her eyes, letting a smile sneak across her lips. Now, all she was thinking about was how good it will feel later when he does allow her to finish...and how pleased he will be that she was able to realize what he wanted her to do.

They stopped at a light long enough for Mike to put the top down on the convertible. She smiled over at him as she felt the warmth and light hit her. Mike watched her out of the corner of his eye as he drove them the rest of the way to the repair shop. He loved the smile she was wearing. He watched her close her eyes and let the sun shine on her face. Mike smiled to himself...her mood was infectious.

Soon, they pulled up in front of 'Saul's Auto Paint & Body.' Mike killed the engine and walked around the front of the car to open her door. She stepped out and thanked him. Her hand felt small as he wrapped it in his and lead her to the front door. Mike opened it and ushered her inside, giving her backside a light pat as she walked past him. Shelly jumped and giggled softly as she glanced back at him. He kept his hand on her ass as they approached the counter and informed the receptionist what they were there for.

Mike nuzzled the back of her neck ever so softly as she heard the receptionist page someone. She smiled, loving the feeling that he was 'claiming her.' It still stung a bit when he rubbed his hand across her ass, making the fabric of her skirt rub against her skin, but she didn't care. The stinging had faded into nothing more than a sharp reminder of who she belonged to...and how it came to be. It turned her on so very much. Soon, she felt herself pressing back into his hand as they stood, waiting for the report on her car.

"Kourting?" The mechanic burst through the shop door so quickly that Shelly jumped.

Mike held her fast and signaled the mechanic over to them. "Over here, Ken."

"Hey Mike, how's it going? You the one with the ancient Chevy?"

Shelly smiled. "That would be me. What's the verdict?"

"Well, Saul just got off the phone with your insurance agent. He's pushing to repair it, but honestly, I think if you'd talk to him you could total it out. That's what I'd do."

Shelly's face fell. There was a small part of her that was hoping the car could be saved. "Really?"

"My estimate to repair it is over the blue-book value, and that's just to get it back to how it was before this - not to fix everything that was wrong. The engine took a good hit when it tipped, so that will have to be completely gone through. Your exhaust system is a complete loss, the quarter panel on the rear driver's side is toast. Pretty much everything that can leak is leaking. Add on the glass, body work and paint...and I'd say you're looking at maybe three thousand over what your insurance will pay after your deductible." He was looking at his clipboard and writing with his greasy hand.

"Is Saul here?" Mike's voice came from behind her as she took in the information.

"Yeah, he's in his office."

Mike nodded his thanks and took Shelly's hand as he led her behind the counter into a back office. He knocked on the open door as a tall, well-built Hispanic man sat behind a big desk with a telephone plastered to the side of his head. He signaled for Mike and Shelly to sit down as he wrapped up his conversation. He hung up the phone and smiled broadly at Mike. "Harding...how you doing, man?"

Mike stood and shook the man's hand. "I'm good, Saul. How's business?"

Saul laughed. "Hey, as long as there are bad drivers, I stay busy right?" They both laughed as they sat back down.

Shelly smiled as Mike introduced her. "This is my friend, Michelle Kourting, she's the owner of that Chevy from yesterday morning."

Saul shook her hand and greeted her warmly. She decided she liked him. "Sorry that happened, maim.

Did Kenny talk to you guys yet?"

She nodded. "Is it really that bad?"

Saul sighed as he clicked for something on his computer. "I'll open your work order. Now, this is just an estimate - but we are usually pretty accurate." He turned his chair to get something from his printer and handed it to her. "Your insurance agent called a bit ago, he seemed pretty adamant that he wanted it repaired rather than totaled out...but I don't see how that can happen for what your policy will cover. The van that hit you didn't have insurance, and from what I can tell you don't have any UIM coverage right?"

Shelly nodded. "Right," She lowered her head, a little embarrassed.

"Unfortunately, that means we are looking at the max allowable on your policy, and for that old of a car, it will cover maybe 25% even if I do it at cost for my buddy here."

Shelly listened as he went through the list of everything that needed to be fixed on her car. It was long.

"Mike does enough business here that I would be willing to donate the labor... but even then we are looking at least two grand." Saul looked at her sympathetically. "Sorry...wi

"You could always try to sue the other driver in small claims court or something." Saul was trying very hard to help her feel better.

Mike scoffed, "Yeah, like she'd get anything out of him anyway."

Saul nodded. "I know your guy wants to fix it, but honestly, you're better off totaling it. You'd at least get something out of it then. It won't be much, but it may be enough to get you into something else."

"Did he say why he wanted it repaired so badly?" Mike asked. "I saw the hit that thing took. I realize it's a steel fortress, but it was on its damn side. The frame has to be bent."

Saul nodded. "I don't know why, man. I told him I would see what I could do, but I really think it should be totaled out. You need something safer anyway...airbags, anti-lock brakes...stuff like that. That thing had to be killing you on gas."

Shelly chuckled as she handed Mike the papers. "Yeah...she wasn't exactly eco-friendly." She bit her lip. "She was dependable though...and she was mine. And paid for."

"I get it." Saul nodded as he looked at her. "You've probably had it for a long time right?"

"About ten years..."

"Well," he sighed. "It's done a good job for you. It's over thirty years old with nearly three hundred thousand miles on it. I'd say she has served her time." Saul smiled as he looked at her. "I know people get attached to cars, and I get it - I do. But, there comes a time when you must move on. Besides, if you get this fixed your insurance rates will probably go up...you'll have to pay out of pocket for the over costs plus your deductible...and I can almost guarantee you it will become a money pit within a year. There is gonna be something new wrong with it every week. If you keep just fixing all the small things...pretty soon you will have spent a lot to upkeep a car that should have been junked."

Shelly took a deep breath and looked over at Mike. "What do you think?"

"You know what I think. But...it's your decision."

She smiled and bit her lip as she ran her options through her head. This whole time she had been hoping that her car was repairable. Now, she found herself leaning the opposite way. The thought of driving something newer, and from the past decade, suddenly seemed very appealing. "I'll call Jerry...see what he's thinking."

Mike nodded as she reached into her purse for her phone. She dialed the number and held it to her ear as she slowly rose from her chair. "I'll be right back." The men both nodded as she made her way out of the office. Jerry picked up on the fourth ring.

"This is Jerry." He was winded...like he had run to the phone or something.

"Hi Jerry, this is Shelly. You ok?"

"Oh...yes," He coughed a couple times. "You just caught me on my way back from lunch. What's going on? You ok?"

"I'm fine." She took a deep breath. "I'm actually at the repair shop and they're telling me that you're insisting on fixing my car instead of totaling it out?" She paused, waiting for him to respond. When he didn't after a couple seconds, she stuttered. "I was just...uh...wondering why that was. I've looked at the estimates and the damage is way over the blue book...plus I'd have to pay out of pocket for the over repair charges." She bit her lip as she lowered her voice, not wanting anyone to hear. "And I really can't afford anything extra right now...especially thousands of dollars for car repair."

"Well, Shelly... I know that. But...wait do you want me to total it out?" Jerry seemed confused.

"Isn't that the smarter thing to do?"

"I figured you'd rather have the ol' beast repaired. You've had that car for a long time. You love that car."

She laughed lightly. "Oh...I know. But..." she glanced over her should into the window where Mike and

Saul sat. "...maybe it's time for something new. Something more efficient...safer...stuff like that."

Jerry sighed. "To be honest, it would cost a lot more to fix it than to total her out...I just figured it was what you would have wanted. That's what your dad told me anyway."

"When did you speak to my father?"

"He stopped by earlier this morning...talking about how we needed to fix your car no matter what..." Jerry sighed. "He was pretty set on it, even after I told him how silly it was. He offered to pay for some of the repairs."

"But why?" Shelly was honestly confused. How could her father want her to keep her old car?

"I honestly don't know, Shell. Something about holding onto your roots and fixing what you love...I lost track." Jerry took a deep breath. "But, you are the policy holder...and you're the one that pays the premium. I'll leave it up to you. What do you wanna do?"

She paused as she racked her brain for a valid reason (other than her dad being an emotional hoarder) that she should try to fix her old car. "Give me just a sec, Jerry." She pressed the phone to her chest and closed her eyes.

Suddenly she felt an arm come around her waist. She jumped a little as Mike sidled up beside her. "What's up?" His smile lit up her world as she looked up at him.

"It's my decision. Fix it or total it." She bit her lip as she blinked at him, trying to keep her head straight.

Mike nodded. "It's your call."

She gave him a frustrated 'harumph' when it seemed like that was all he was going to say. Mike chuckled. "But...if it were me. I'd have them total it out and get into something nicer...something safer. You deserve it." He smiled down at her as she rested her head on his chest...not quite understanding why this was turning into such an emotional decision. It was just a stupid car. It was old, broken down and expensive. But...it was HER car, and she loved it. Should she hang on to it and try to keep it alive? Or, should she see what else is out there?

Shelly took a deep breath as she raised the phone to her ear once again. "Let's total it out, Jerry. She's done."

Mike nodded. "Good decision," he whispered.

"Ok." Jerry sighed. "I'll give the repair shop the go-ahead. Uh, make sure you get everything you need out of it while you're there...grab all the legal forms, anything else you want to keep. I should have a check in the mail to you by Wednesday, less your deductible of course." She could hear him shuffling papers around. "I'll give you a call in an hour or so to let you know where you can pick up your rental car. Now, you get it for one week paid for...if you keep it longer than that you have to foot the bill." She laughed. "Got it." She smiled, feeling a wave of relief washing over her. "Thanks, Jerry."

"Could you uh...could you just be sure to let your dad know? I don't want him coming down here thinking I talked you into this."

She laughed as she nodded. "Yeah. I will call him tonight."

"Alright then. Have a good day, and be careful out there."

"Bye bye." She ended the call and looked up at Mike. "Well...that's that. The Jolly Green Giant is no more."

Mike hugged her to his chest. "It'll be ok, princess. I promise we will find you something even jollier." She felt his chest rumble with laughter as he held her, and she couldn't help but chuckle herself.

"I need to go get my things out of her." She began to feel a twinge of sadness as she thought about saying goodbye to her car.

"Already done. Saul and his guys had already taken every scrap out of it, planning on junking it." He sighed as he let her go. "I'll go grab it." He took a few steps backwards. "Why don't you get the Beemer started?"

Shelly had a puzzled look on her face as Mike reached into his pocket and tossed his keys at her. She caught them with both hands. "Really? You're trusting me to drive?"

He laughed as he reached the door. "Just get in the car, Kourting - before I come to my senses."

She squealed with delight as she hit the button to unlock the door and sat inside. She turned the key as the powerful engine roared to life. She marveled at the lights and gauges on the dash. It was so fancy!

She reached down and adjusted the seat so she could reach the pedals. She revved the engine and felt the seat vibrate as it rumbled. No wonder he loved this car. It was powerful...it was the best. It was just like him.

The passenger door suddenly popped open. "You like?"

Mike tossed a plastic bag in the backseat and stuck a folder in the glove box as he got in.

Shelly giggled. "Oh yes...your car is amazing."

He laughed. "I got everything out of your car. Documents are in the folder - everything else is in the plastic bag."

"Thank you for doing that."

"Of course." He nodded as he fastened his seatbelt. "Everything is taken care of...unless you want to go see it one last time?"

She thought about it for a few seconds. "Nah...it would just make me sad."

"Alright then," he gently caressed her cheek. "Let's go get something to eat."

Once again, he had handled everything. As she pulled the BMW out of the driveway of the repair shop, she couldn't help but think that she should be bothered by it. She SHOULD feel like he thought she wasn't capable of handling her own affairs. She SHOULD be insulted that he assumed she wouldn't know what to do. For ten seconds, she let herself sit with those thoughts - then she tossed them out the window. The truth was, it was very nice to have someone to lean on. Granted, it was a little more than leaning, but for the first time in her life, she felt like she wasn't in this game alone. Mike had gotten a phone call so she snuck a glance at him as he spoke. He was so handsome. His jawline alone was enough to make her swoon. Factor in his eyes, his mouth, his hands, his legs, his butt, and his voice...she almost had to pinch herself to remember that this wasn't a dream.

She felt her body reacting to mere thoughts of him and had to shake her head to get her focus back. It was a beautiful day, and she loved feeling the warmth of the afternoon heat her skin as they drove. She smiled at him as he talked. He noticed her out of the corner of his eye and winked at her. Shelly felt like a new woman as she pressed the accelerator once the light turned green. What exactly it was that had given her this 'fresh start' feeling, she didn't know...but she liked it. For the first time in a long time, she was optimistic...and not begrudgingly so. She really felt like she could enjoy her life...like it wouldn't all be an uphill battle the whole time. The grin she had on her face nearly stretched from cheek to cheek.

As she pulled them into a parking spot at a diner, she looked over at Mike. He was still on the phone of course...but before she could open her door, she felt his hand on her leg. He signaled her to stay put. As he flipped the switch to recover the top she sat back and watched him speak. He was trying to wrap up his conversation, but he was looking right at her. She leaned back and unbuckled her seat belt as she returned his gaze. Her hair had become tousled in the wind and it fell haphazardly around her shoulders, nearly reaching her chest. She tried to straighten herself out...loving how free she felt.

Mike's hand began drawing lazy circles on the top of her thigh. Every time he touched her, it reminded her of just how naked she was. The thought of going without her underwear at his request was extremely erotic...and the more she thought about it, the more turned on she became.

She closed her eyes and bit her lip, letting the good feelings he was generating run through her. Soon she felt his hand moving up her leg. Still over her skirt, but working its way up her body until he reached her right breast. She gasped as his hand ran lightly over her right breast...feeling her nipples harden. She opened her eyes and stole a glance at him just as he hit the 'end' button on his phone. Mike looked directly at her, twisting in his seat as his eyes bored into hers.

"You ok?" His eyes went over her face as he gently pushed her long brown hair behind her shoulders.

She smiled. "Of course."

He looked pensive. "Just...remember to tell me if anything starts to bother you."

She was honestly puzzled. "What do you mean?"

"Well..." he chuckled. "I know how eventful the past two days have been. There has been a lot of changes...and things are moving very quickly between us." He paused as his thumb traced her lips. "Much faster than I would normally go...I don't want you to get scared. I don't want you to run."

She thought about it for a while. Everything he said was true. She had fallen head over heels for a man she hadn't even known for 48 hours. She had agreed to let go of her car. She had allowed herself to be dominated...spanked...controlled. She had had more sex in two days than most people had in a month...she was parading around in public with no bra or underwear. Were things drastically different than they were days ago? Absolutely they were. She knew she should be freaking out...but she wasn't.

It was supposed to be a 'weekend' thing. It was supposed to be temporary...but now she didn't know how she could last without him. She was scared...but knowing that Mike would be with her seemed to make everything ok.

"It IS odd to think that we just met. But I swear it doesn't feel like it. It feels like this is where I'm..." She stopped herself before she said too much. Before Mike could prompt her to finish her thought, she placed her hand on his. "I know I should be freaking out...but I'm not. I promise." She smiled as she told him her truth. "Are you?"

"No." His answer was swift. "I know what I want."

Her breath shook as she inhaled deeply. "And what is it that you want?"

"Silly girl." He kissed her, gently probing her mouth with his tongue, as his hands cupped her face. "You."

She opened her eyes to see him still staring deeply back at her.

"You sure?" She hated asking the question, but the insecure side of her had to. "I can be a bit..."
