He walked over to Amelia and handed her the card. She looked at it carefully and then read what had been written in what was unmistakably Eric's shoddy handwriting.

Amelia dropped the card to floor with a soft gasp: events had unfolded exactly as Eric had written them. The cards were real! She stared at him, unsure of what to say in light of this information.

"Well, now you know that I was telling the truth, crazy as it all sounds." He said, putting an arm on her shoulder. "Are you okay? I know this is a lot to process."

"Yes, I'm fine. I just... I thought this was a hoax or a joke of some kind. I never expected it to be real."

"Is that okay?" he asked her uncertainly. He wondered if bringing her in on this monumental secret was such a good idea.

"Okay? Are you kidding me?" she said, suddenly beaming at him with her incredible smile. He forced himself to look away from her, lest he lose himself to her beauty. "This is great news!"

"It is? Why?" He asked, confused.

"Because," she said, moving to the bed and sitting down on it, "I want you to use them on me."
