Connie picked up my Kindle from the table next to my side of the bed. After handing it to me she took my other hand and said; "Come on Cowboy, it's time for you to go."
She led me to the kitchen. The girls were still coloring. I kissed each of them and said, "Good bye."
Connie walked me to the door to the garage. While she straightened my jacket, she said; "Have fun tonight Cowboy and remember, you're the only man Jackie loves. Are you excited?"
"Yes, I'm so excited I can barely think."
"Good." She kissed my cheek. "Now get going, you don't want to miss this show."
As I turned to go into the garage I took a quick glance back at the clock on the wall above the sink. It was 5:30.
