"Well, if you are, I guess I am too."

After a while, Sarah looked at me thoughtfully, and said, "Kate is still a virgin you know. I often think of Kate having sex for the first time. Young boys can be such idiots. I hope she finds someone like you to be her first." She paused and then looked at me more pointedly and said, "I wouldn't mind, you know."

Shocked, I looked at Sarah questioningly.

She laughed and rested her head on my chest and I held her tightly. "It's late" she said, "let's go to sleep."

Before too long I felt her breathing slow and deepen.

I looked up at the ceiling and gently shook my head. And smiled. And before long, I felt myself relax and drift into sleep.
