Kate and I Ch. 63-69

Thank you, after which instead of trying to get even with her, he instead devoted all his time to recovery and his school work. He shunned (almost) all advances from women, and turned to a life of (somewhat) celibacy (only a couple of times did he go out and get laid).

Later he graduated summa cum laude with a major in business management and a minor in business development. As Erica was still trying to survive because she couldn't keep up with the demands (fucking) that she had place on herself.

After Aden had graduated, all he thought about was getting together with her again, but Erica had eventually disappeared and she couldn't be found anywhere. So Aden suffered a bout of depression. During which, he went traveling abroad in Europe.

His travels took him everywhere, from Scotland to Russia and everywhere in-between. During these trips, Aden became more confident in himself (except dealing with women in a physical manner). He developed a keen sense of business, and he also developed contacts throughout the world. They even helped him land his job at Apex International. He also had strengthened his leg to the point of where the limp was not noticeable.

But on the other hand, his traveling ended up hurting him as well. Aden became very reserved with women (he never went out and got some, they would almost have to throw themselves at him for him to have an interest. This never happened, some were interested but never came forth and went after him. I think some women thought he was gay, which is the furthest from the truth), he wasn't shy but he stopped looking at women sexually (tell me about it, I wasn't used, the way I wanted to be used, for the longest time). Aden thought that women would not find him appealing because of his leg (even though the limp was nonexistent).

When Aden arrived back to Los Angeles 2 years later, (yep 2 years, and almost 3 years without me getting any) he was a changed man (and 2 million dollar less rich). He used some of his contacts that he made in Europe, to land a prestigious opportunity (it was the bottom of the ladder) at Apex.

69. Brain and brain exited the 'Archives' and return to their original positions, and continue their conversation from before:

"Okay," brain starts, "so it's not her. What is it then, doesn't he understand when a hot piece is willing and able to be his play thing?"

Brain shrugs his shoulders, "I don't know, but we need to convince him. This is something I will get behind you on brain."

"...what?" brain says with shock and sarcasm, "Did we just agree on something?"

"Oh, shut up, stop being a dick!"
