She placed her hands on my cheeks and with tears forming in both of our eyes, she gently kissed me on the lips.
I left and went over to the cemetery. I was there for a long time and then I drove up to the State Park with the waterfalls. Katie's spirit came to me there and I stayed there until sunset.
Many years would pass before I would go back to that State Park again.
