Kellie and Brad Ch. 09

For Kellie, the pace at which Brad was loving her was slower than what it usually took to satisfy her. But tonight, the love she felt for him was stronger than ever. It put all her senses on overdrive, so the view of his gorgeously toned and muscled body, the feel of both his strong hands lovingly caressing her body and his thick staff plunging inside her and hitting all the right spots, the sound of his grunts and groans of passion, the faint whiff of his aftershave combined with the more intense yet pleasant musk of his manliness, and the taste of his tongue as they shared deep kisses... all of it turned her on even more than normal, lighting her passions so hot it was nearly overwhelming.

A few more of his thrusts of easy power combined with a kiss and nibble behind her ear were all it took. Kellie lifted off the bed, pulled Brad hard into her and mewled sweetly into a satisfying orgasm. Brad felt her body release and watched her roll onto her side. Happily for him, the more relaxing pace of their lovemaking meant that he had much more still to give.

Having a flash of inspiration, he spooned in next to her and entered her from this sideways position. She gasped at the unexpected sensation; it was a position they had rarely, if ever, engaged in during sex. But it seemed to hit new places within her, creating more delicious feelings, so the gasp quickly gave way to squeals of delight.

Brad reveled in the newly discovered intimacy of this position. He let his hands travel all over Kellie, feeling a taut stomach here, a firm breast there, tantalizingly soft skin everywhere. He kissed his way from her shoulder to the back of her neck to behind her ear, and back again. His gentle touches made her throb all over and sent fresh waves of wetness down below. She reached her arms behind her, trying to pull him in tighter, desperate for more of his contact. Seeing and feeling her writhe in pleasure made his heart race in excitement.

"Oh Kellie," he whispered in her ear, "my baby, my sweet, sweet angel, you're so beautiful."

"Yes, Brad!" she cried. "You're so sexy... my wonderful man... please... don't stop!"

"Don't you worry, baby, I'll never stop. I'll always love you, forever and ever."

"Oh yes! I'll always love you too, baby, forever and ever."

"God I'm so hot for your sexy little body!"

"Oh! Baby you're so strong... so deep... so good..."

"Yeah, am I making you feel good, baby? Are you gonna cum for me?"

"Ohmigod... please Brad, make me cum for you!"

"That's right, cum for me baby, please, I need you to cum for me so bad!"

Brad kissed and licked Kellie's earlobe and she fell into the void. With a loud, squalling wail, she came, her needy sex clamping down on his shaft, her mind consumed with the euphoric release of pleasure and love for her man. He groaned and thrust inside her to the hilt once more before shuddering to his own blissful orgasm.

Kellie slowly turned her spent body to face Brad. They took several minutes to come down from their sexual high, lovingly showering each other with warm smiles, gentle kisses, soft strokes and the close feel of skin on skin. Nothing was said in that time, until they spoke like a mantra their declarations of love for each other.

"I love you, Bradley Galenchuk."

"I love you, Kellie Galenchuk."

Kellie settled into Brad's caring embrace, kissing and nuzzling into his chest. She wondered again why she ever doubted this man, because he always came through and proved his undying love for her, time after time.

Brad kept Kellie's lovely warm body close to his, protectively holding her. He was reflecting on how happy, and how very, very relieved, he was to be fully reconciled with her and to have the nastiness of the last few days put behind them.

But if Brad thought this would forever end any drama between him and Kellie when it came to Anita, he was sorely mistaken.

Brad closely observed Anita's work over the last few months, right from the day she started. He did not expect anything from her. He thought she might give an honest effort at first before realizing she was out of her depth, and from there she would accept being told to move on, with the knowledge she would at least have some work experience on which to build for her future.

That proved to be the furthest thing from the truth.

Several times he had to reset his expectations for her, and she surpassed them every time. She was a conscientious, hard worker who took pride in learning all aspects of the job and how to do them right. She also seemed to enjoy the work, certainly more than he thought she would, and probably more than she thought, as well.

She also endured considerable verbal abuse. Clearly Brad and Kellie were not the only people unhappy to see Anita return, and no one was shy to let her know about it. She dealt with it all stoically, and the one time Brad stepped in when he thought Anita's critics had taken things too far, she thanked him but asked him not to do it again. She didn't want to be accused of seeking favourable treatment, and she was determined not to show even a hint of weakness. Eventually, even the worst offenders let up on her, and, while she didn't exactly end up with a lot of work friends, she became more or less accepted as part of the team.

Brad knew that Anita valued this job and didn't want to leave, at least not right now. And if he were completely honest with himself, speaking strictly on the professional side, he didn't want her to leave either.

But, of course, he couldn't truly separate his work life from his home life. So his first worry that day was whether Anita would do something inappropriate when he told her she survived the probationary period, would keep her job and get the customary raise for doing so to boot. He didn't really believe she would but he'd be lying to himself if he didn't admit that it was still a possibility.

It turned out to be a non-issue. Anita was very happy to learn of her more secure job status, of course; in fact she was thrilled. She ended the meeting with nothing more than a few words of honest thanks, a firm handshake and a promise to report to her post the next day at her usual time.

His second worry, he was sure, would be more difficult to navigate.

That evening started innocently enough. He enjoyed playtime with E.J. and Kaitlyn and dinner with them and Kellie. When he and she relaxed for the night, after they helped put the kids to bed... that was when the real discussion started.

"So, do you know what today is?" Kellie asked.

Brad frowned, pretending not to know what she was talking about and hoping against hope she would move on to something else. "I feel like I probably should know the answer, but I'm afraid I don't."

"Well, let me fill you in, Mr. Forgetful. It's been exactly six months to the day since you had to hire little miss bitch Anita."

So much for that, he thought.

"Ah, of course it is," he said out loud. "I should have known you would keep close track of that."

"Yes, you should have known. But I'm not surprised. You are a guy, after all."

He rolled his eyes as she giggled and kissed his cheek.

"Now," Kellie said, "I know you haven't told me anything about how she's doing at work..."

"That was at your request, remember," Brad interrupted.

"Yes, I know that. Anyway, I assume that she did such a terrible job that today you were finally safely able to let her go and now you can tell me all about it."

He hesitated, looking nervous and searching for the right words to say. That was all she needed to see to know his answer would not be to her liking.

"Honey, seriously?!" she asked, incredulously.

"Listen, hon," he replied. "That was the plan all along, just like you said. But we ran into a problem along the way."

"And that would be?!"

"She's really, really good at her job."

Kellie couldn't say a word because she couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"I'm serious, Kellie," Brad continued. "She's always on time, and she doesn't leave until either her work is completed or I tell her it's OK to go. She's dedicated, smart and willing to learn. Hell, she probably knows more about how things work than some of the long-term veterans I have on hand, and most of them know their stuff! She's been my best employee the last three months. What kind of message would I be sending if I fired her now?"

"Brad, what kind of message are you sending me by not getting rid of the one person who has hurt me more than anyone else?"

"No, honey, there's no message there for you, please believe me. Work is one thing, but other than that I have and will have nothing to do with her. I love you and only you, I always have and I always will, and I won't let anything or anyone change that."

Kellie's features softened, and the anger she was starting to feel washed away, replaced by love but also fear and anxiety. She gave Brad a brief but loving kiss. "I believe you, baby, but I'm just so worried. I trust you completely, but I will never, ever trust her. I'm scared she'll wait for a time when she thinks you're vulnerable, and then she'll try to steal you away from me again. I can't bear the thought of that happening."

Brad cradled Kellie in a hug. He kissed the top of her head. "Baby, I swear I will never do anything to hurt you, and if she does try anything I will put a complete stop to it."

Kellie smiled sweetly to him.

"But..." he started to add, and then stopped.

"But what?" she asked.

He took a deep breath to calm his nerves before speaking again. "I have a strange feeling that Anita will be on her best behaviour. In fact, I was wondering if it's at all possible that you could speak to her, find a way to get past your differences. Not saying you have to be friends with her or anything like that, but maybe it would help..."

Kellie frantically shook her head throughout Brad's last couple of statements, and he finally gave up trying to convince her. "No, never!" she yelled, and tears started to run down her cheeks. "Don't ask me to do that again! Please! I won't be mad at you for allowing her to keep her job if you think that's best. But you can't ask me to forgive her or forget what she did! I can't do it, Brad! I just can't!"

Brad closed his eyes. It felt like a huge mistake to let Kellie stay angry at Anita. He thought the longer it lingered and festered, the more chance there would be of something triggering a new episode, and he feared what the repercussions would be. But he also didn't want to force Kellie to do something she clearly wasn't ready to do. Maybe in time she would see the wisdom of properly dealing with this issue, or maybe in time he could gently move her in that direction. But now clearly wasn't the time.

"OK," he said softly, opening his eyes. "I'm sorry if I upset you."

"It's alright," she replied, just as softly. "Thank you for understanding." She kissed his cheek before she left to get ready for bed.

Brad sighed once she was out of earshot. He hoped he was doing the right thing. But, even if he was, he had a strong suspicion that Anita Morriss would be an ongoing source of friction between he and Kellie for many years to come.
