There were so many emotions to sort out that she didn't know which to begin with.
Was making out the mistake to begin with?...
Or was it that she turned down the offer?...
Maybe Athena was just kidding around?...
Then why did she get so angry?...
But whatever question she posed, she felt cold and alone regardless, like someone had driven an ice-spear through her guts.
Maybe she was just desperate. Or maybe it was something else.
As she thought back to their blazing kiss, the warmth seemed to return to her as well, as did the tingles in her tummy.
Whatever it was, now that Athena was gone, Elisha knew she wanted her back and wanted more of it.
