Somewhere in the course of the evening I learned two things about Lars: First, he had a wife, which was of no consequence to me since I didn't think it likely I would see him again; and second, he had an identical twin brother who was a naval fighter pilot. I didn't think that mattered much either, but it turned out to be important.
