"My service for your summoning is complete. I return now to my home," The Mischievous said in a commanding voice, still in character. She lifted her hand and summoned a small burst of magic. It exploded the air around them, stirring up all the flour on the ground and creating a gigantic dust cloud. The monk closed his eyes and turned away as best he could from the debris in the air. When it finally dissipated and settled, the Vegetable Goddess had vanished.
And he was still bound by giant cucumber vines.
Author's note: yes, I'm back at the helm. Thank you all for the pleas and questions of when I'd continue. Sorry to leave everyone hanging, but life sometimes steers you away from what you want to do. Gosh I missed it. So now that life is ironing itself back out there, we'll have more chapters!
