I thought for a couple of seconds then gently pulled her through the doorway after me. When I turned to close the door, she wrapped her arms around me and breathed "Thank you." I kissed her softly and whispered "That's OK, but I don't know what you are thanking me for."
"For letting me in." she said cryptically. "Now shh, get into bed."
I got into bed and lay on my right side with my back to Lorraine, facing Chrissy as she got in. We cuddled for a while then she whispered "You normally sleep on your left side don't you?"
"Normally."
"That's ok, you can turn over, I'll cuddle your back."
That is how we all slept, me with my arm over Lorraine and Chrissy fitting closely into my back with her arm round me.
