Paul hasn't found anyone permanent yet but has found that there are plenty of women willing to try and be that one. He loved his new job and was enjoying the benefits of being a single male in an area known for its single female population.
Jane has lost everything. She lost her job and now spends her days crying over the life she once had. She lives in a trailer on the outside of town. She gets hit on a lot because she is still beautiful, but hasn't slept with anyone since David.
David disappeared and no one knows where.

Anonymous4 months agoPaul should have gone after Jane's friend Tina. She's the one who recommended David. Perhaps she had the same thing with the good therapist.
Anonymous4 months agoSo obvious where this was leading. Don't know why she's crying. She knew what she was doing and what she was risking. Silly bitch. At least her and David reap what they sow. Paul could have been a better husband I admit but it was no reason to betray him like that. Hopefully he learns for next time.
I liked how David highlighted how stupid she was, pointing out that she fell for him just because he gave her a bit of attention, after which, she basically starting going overboard with the effort she put in - she should have put that into her marriage. Oh well, you live and you learn I suppose.
AA82ndAAabout 1 year agoI liked this tale. David gets ruined, the cheating wife is disgraced and the husband if he is smart, gets back in shape and moves on with his life. He needs to find a partner that is a better match and communicator. Your telling of the story was good. One change would have then M/C's have some personality.
