"Shepard... I..." Garrus began but was cut off by Shepard's finger on his lips.
"Don't. I'll see you soon."
He nodded and stepped off of the bed, getting dressed again Garrus hoisted his bag of belongings over his shoulder and walked out of the cabin. He didn't say goodbye as it would have been far too painful. Soon, Shepard was by herself. Again. Earth put out a call for a hero...
And she was going to answer it.
