Mending a Broken Heart Ch. 02

Hello! Thank you for your comments and suggestions for part 1 of my story. I've taken them all in and incorporated them into part 2. Again this is a build up type story, and I would suggest reading part 1 before part 2. Hope you enjoy!




REDBEAUTY "How was your night?"

NADIA "MMM...it was ok. If it weren't for the fact that I could hear my roommate Rory fucking the brains out of her girlfriend all night...I'd say it would have been a wonderful night's sleep."

REDBEAUTY "ha ha I'm so sorry sweetie. Do you have to work early today?"

NADIA "No. Luckily my boss gave me the day off today. He's going to be busy out of the office with clients so he didn't see a reason for me to come in just to do some filing. How about you? Do you work today?"

REDBEAUTY "I'm making an appearance in the afternoon for some last minute meetings, but being the boss there I do have the freedom to make my own schedule. And being that it's Friday I really just feel like taking an easy day...Nadia...would you like to get coffee with me this morning?"

NADIA "You want to meet up?"

REDBEAUTY "LOL well we've been talking for a few weeks now and you seem like a really sweet girl. Yes I would love to meet you, but only if you're comfortable with that."

NADIA "I'd love to join you for coffee! Where would you like to meet?"

REDBEAUTY "There's a little cafe called Jitter Bean on the corner of Olive and Grand downtown. Do you know where that is? That's my usual stop before heading to work."

NADIA "Yes I do! I can be there within the hour if that works for you?"

REDBEAUTY "Perfect! How will I know that it's you?"

NADIA "hmm..I'll be in jeans and a long white sleeved shirt. How will I recognize you?"

REDBEAUTY "Oh don't worry sweetie. I'll keep my eye out for you. Besides I go there so often I would recognize who isn't a regular there. I'll see you soon Nadia!"

NADIA "Looking forward to it. Bye Stephanie"

"Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh. I'm finally going to meet Stephanie. What am I wearing?..oh right..." Nadia raced to the bathroom to turn on her straightener fumbling here and there over how nervous she was to finally meet Stephanie. "Why am I so nervous? We're just two woman talking" thought Stephanie as she started to feel the butterflies in her stomach churn.

Nadia rummaged through her closet looking for her pair of low cut blue jeans that accentuated her butt, so she's been told, and found her long white sleeve shirt with the three buttons that lead down to her cleavage..."hmm nothing wrong with wanting to reveal a little" thought Nadia as she left the buttons unbuttoned revealing just a tease of her 34D breasts. With little time to spare Nadia quickly straightened the waves from her long black hair, and did her makeup in a way that revealed her natural beauty. Though with a hint of dark eyeliner to make her eyes very endearing. With one last check in her full length mirror, Nadia smiled with approval and quickly headed out the door.

"Argh! I hate having to find parking downtown!" groaned Nadia as she drove around the block multiple times trying to find street parking. On her third attempt she luckily managed to squeeze her red mini cooper in between two large trucks. "Ok Olive and Grand, Olive and Grand" Nadia kept repeating to herself until the Jitter Bean Cafe slowly came into view.

Knots started tearing into Nadia's stomach as she slowly walked closer and closer to the cafe.."What am I doing? It's just getting coffee with another woman, a friend I'd say. Just relax and breathe. You'll be fine Nad!" Nadia kept telling herself to keep her courage strong.

As Nadia approached the glass door to the cafe, she took in one last deep breath and pushed her way inside the cafe. The stong scent of coffee beans quickly filled Nadia's nostrils. As she glanced around she quickly noticed that the Jitter Bean had a cozy vibe to it. There were lounge chairs placed in various corners, there was a hint of baked goods lingering in the air, and there were various black and white paintings of beautiful sceneries covering the walls. To the left was a long line of business suits waiting to order their morning java of the day, and to the right were people sitting around various tables, some typing away on their laptops, some reading, and other just chatting away.

Nadia's eyes were searching the room when she slowly made eye contact with a beautiful red headed woman. They stared at each other for what seemed like minutes but in reality were only a few seconds. The beautiful red head slowly stood up and made her way over to Nadia with a big smile. "Nadia? I'm Stephanie! It's a pleasure to finally meet you!"

Staring into Stephanie's gorgeous green eyes, Nadia felt her throat start to dry up. A few seconds later.. "Hi Stephanie! It's a pleasure to finally meet you as well!" As Nadia reached out to shake Stephanie's hand, Stephanie quickly reached in and pulled Nadia in for a hug instead. Stephanie's sweet perfume slowly filled Nadia which made Nadia unconsciously melt into her arms. Stephanie had beautiful long red wavy hair that fell below her shoulders, and as they slowly caressed Nadia's hands she could feel its softness and the thought crept into Nadia's mind about how amazing it would feel to run her fingers through Stephanie's gorgeous hair.

"Follow me, I have a table ready for us" Stephanie said with a smile that made Nadia's heart melt on the spot. Her lips were covered in pink lip gloss that just accentuated their lusciousness. Her teeth were perfectly straight and white, she had a cute little nose, and her eyes were the greenest that Nadia had ever seen on any human being. Almost hypnotized Nadia could not take her eyes of them.

As she followed Stephanie to their table, she couldn't help but steal glances at her body. She wore a very fitting and sexy woman's business suit, but instead of pants she wore a long fitting black skirt that fell just above her knees. Nadia could see that Stephanie was someone who took very good care of her body as she had a beautiful hour glass shape. Though she could not see her breasts through her jacket she would guess that Stephanie was at least a C if not D cup as well. Her skirt was so fitting against her waist, Nadia couldn't take her eyes off of her butt. It looked very toned and firm, and Stephanie had legs to die for. They were long and slim, but toned to where you could see the muscles form as she took each beautiful step in her black high heels. Stephanie radiated with beauty and confidence, and Nadia for the first time in a long time felt herself weak and intimidated.

STEPHANIE "I'm glad you could make it! Did you find it ok?"

NADIA "Yeah I didn't have any issues..the parking downtown sucks though. I don't know how anyone can work here everyday!"

STEPHANIE chuckling..."Yes it can be a pain. Unless they're fortunate to live just a few blocks away and not have to worry about downtown traffic like myself."

NADIA "Oh you live close by, that's amazing! Do you like living downtown?"

STEPHANIE "Yes I love downtown! I enjoy my walks to work everyday, plus I get to stop by this lovely cafe for my morning coffee. It's become my daily routine. Where do you live?"

NADIA "I live and work on the outskirts of the city. Do you know where Northbrook is? I live in that area. I love it because there's a huge park there with a lake in the middle of it, and lots of people go jogging there and take their dogs for walks there, but it's so close to home I can just walk there and spend my day in peace near the lake. It's beautiful there!" "So I know you're a boss, but what exactly do you do?"

STEPHANIE with a big smile "I am an executive in training for a smaller sized record/talent company actually. I started working there in college as an intern, just doing basic admin things really. Then I slowly worked my way up to a talent scout. I spent every waking hour of the day at clubs, bars, you name it, looking for people who had something to offer the entertainment world. I guess I just got so good at it, I was promoted fairly quickly to a manager where instead of being out in "the field" I got to sit behind the desk signing the talent."

NADIA "OH WOW!!! That is so amazing! It sounds like a difficult job having to find people like that, but you must have been a very determined woman to accomplish so much so fast! Wow I'm impressed! Hmm..I'm curious though. Don't take this the wrong way, but how old are you? I feel like most executive types are old and you look... very young..."

STEPHANIE Laughingly "Well thank you Nadia, I appreciate your comments!" Giggling "I do get that a lot actually. I take pride in taking care of my health and my appearance, especially since I'm going to be "the face" of a company. But I am 32."

NADIA "Well Stephanie I have to say for 32, you are stunning!"

Stephanie smiled at Nadia and as she kept her eye contact, Nadia felt herself blush and forced herself to glance away.

STEPHANIE "So what is it that you do Miss Nadia?"

NADIA "Currently I'm an administrative assistant for a little financial firm in Northbrook. It's not so bad. Some days I spend most of my time filing and talking to clients for my boss, those are the boring days. But there are other days where I get to go with him to various meetings at client's houses and restaurants, so it has it's ups and downs. I studied business in school so I guess this is at least in my field of interest, and it was an available job when I first moved here." "Do you ever miss being out in "the field"?

STEPHANIE "I guess there are some things that I miss about it. I don't miss having to travel from location to location in a single night...but I do miss the excitement of seeing new things and meeting new people. I've met quite a few interesting people in that period actually..."

Nadia noticed the sly smirk on Stephanie's face as she said her last sentence. But didn't feel it her place to ask just yet.

They had been talking for a good hour and a half when Stephanie said that she had to leave due to an 11am appointment. Stephanie quickly noticed the little wrinkle in Nadia's forehead, an obvious look of dissappointment, which weirdly gave her a feeling of comfort and affection.

STEPHANIE "Do you have plans for dinner tomorrow Nadia? I've been craving this pasta dish for weeks now, but it's just not possible to cook a whole pot of pasta for oneself. Would you like to join me?"

With wide eyes and a huge smile, Nadia casually accepted hiding her excitement. The two woman exchanged phone numbers and Stephanie gave her the address to her condo. They agreed to meet at 6, and as the two woman hugged each other goodbye, Nadia immediately felt herself overwhelmed with happiness and lust. Stephanie waved goodbye and Nadia watched the sexy object of her affection walk away with her beautiful red hair bouncing in the wind.

The drive home felt like a daze for Nadia. She couldn't get the image of Stephanie out of her mind. Not only was she a gorgeous and caring woman, she was confident and intelligent as well. As soon as she walked into her apartment, Rory and Brittany quickly noticed the huge smile on Nadia's face.

"What happened to you?" asked Brittany. "You look like someone hit you with a love stick or something."

"No I don't!" Nadia said sternly. She tried to keep a straight face, but her emotions got the best of her and she couldn't help but smile again and giggle.

"Ok I want details!" said Rory.

Nadia told Brittany and Rory about Stephanie and what their first encounter earlier in the day was like. By the expression on Nadia's face, Brittany and Rory knew right away that Nadia had a huge crush if not more.

"So what are you going to wear tomorrow night girl?" Brittany said with a sly smile. "Something sexy of course just in case..you know-wink wink!" The girls started laughing uncontrollably. It was nice to see Nadia finally starting to move on with her life. Whether this is a relationship that would last or not, it was a step in the right direction.

As Nadia sat on the bed, Rory and Brittany rummaged through her closet looking for something for Nadia to wear on her date with Stephanie. "I think you should wear a sexy dress Nad, but nothing too formal seeing that it's her place and not a night out on the town type of thing" stated Rory. "Yeah, and you should definitely wear some sexy black lacy underwear" added Brittany. As Nadia's roommates were giggling uncontrollably about having sex, the thought of being with another woman quickly filled Nadia's thoughts.

She had only been with one woman in her entire life. Yes sex was great, but she felt she hardly had the experience to satisfy another woman whom she hardly knew. Much less a woman like Stephanie. Nadia thought back to her online conversations with Stephanie and remembered how Stephanie had said that she had been a lesbian since college, that she had dated and experimented with various woman. The more Nadia thought about dinner wtih Stephanie, the more nervous she became. She didn't want to disappoint her. She was beginning to have real feelings for her, and the thought of embarrassing herself or disappointing Stephanie soon took over Nadia's thoughts. The beginning of the night was filled with tossing and turning for Nadia, but was soon comforted by the sweet smell of Stephanie's perfume that still lingered on Nadia's shirt. "She's so beautiful" thought Nadia as she slowly drifted off to sleep.

The next morning Nadia woke up bright and early full of excitement for the night to come. She found herself already missing Stephanie and couldn't wait to just be in the same room as her. She was looking for any excuse just to text her, but didn't want to sound desperate...just then she heard the ring of her phone alarming her of a new text message. It was Stephanie. "Good morning sweetie. I just wanted to say I had a great time yesterday and I can't wait to see you tonight."

Nadia quickly lit up,her heart filled with happiness. "Good morning to you too beautiful! I had a great time with you as well. Really excited to see you tonight!" Nadia wasn't sure if her words may have sounded too flirty, but at this point she didn't care. She wanted Stephanie to know that she was interested in her.

Being Nadia's day off, she found herself staring at the clock counting down till it was time for her dinner date with Stephanie. All afternoon, she found herself smiling and fantasizing about what it would feel like to touch Stephanie's skin. She wanted to caress her face and run her fingers through her gorgeous hair. She wanted to taste her sexy lips and imagined how soft they would feel against her own lips. "So ladies, what do you think?" Nadia asked her roommates. "You look amazing" spouted Rory. "Ooh very sexy girl, you'll knock that Stephanie chic right off of her feet!" added Brittany. "Alright I'm headed out. I feel like I should pick up wine or something, what do you think?" asked Nadia. "That would be classy of you Nad! Just drive safe and have a great night tonight. And by the way, I'm really glad that you're finally moving on with your life. It's about time and you deserve to be happy!" Rory said proudly with a smile. "Thanks Rory! I love you girls! Thanks for helping me get through everything." As the girls hugged, Brittany shouted "Hey you're going to be late, get ur ass outta here!"

Not sure how long she would be, Nadia decided to park in an overnight garage. "Just in case" thought Nadia with a sly smile on her face. Stephanie's brick building looked older compared to the surrounding neighborhood, but as soon as she walked in it was obviously redone with a more modernized look. As Nadia got off the elevator, she started feeling her heart beating through her chest. As she approached Stephanie's door, she took one last deep breath and knocked.

Stephanie came to the door and greeted Nadia with a big smile. "Hello sweetie." She had literally taken Nadia's breath away, Nadia's eyes started at Stephanie's feet and slowly inched her way up to her eyes. She wore black high heels, a short black strapless dress with a little slit on the side that revealed her gorgeous toned thigh, her breasts now more in view looked for sure to be a size D, her arms and shoulders were toned, and her collarbone looked delicious enough to lick. Stephanie's red hair was in a ponytail with the curls of her hair slightly caressing her shoulders, and her lips were painted with bright red lipstick. When Nadia's eyes finally made its way to Stephanie's, she felt her body overcome with an electric shock that made its way from the back of her neck, down to her spine, all the way down to her cunt. NADIA "I picked up some wine."

STEPHANIE "Oh how thoughtful. Pinot Blanc. I see you know your wines. This goes great with pasta!"

NADIA ...giggling.. "Truthfully, I don't know the first thing about wine. I had to ask the clerk for advice on what to get."

STEPHANIE ...laughing.."Oh Nadia, you're so precious. And still it was very thoughtful of you to go out of your way. Dinner's just about finished, would you like to pour us some wine while I serve the dinner?"

As Nadia followed Stephanie toward the kitchen and dining area, she quickly glanced around and noticed how exceptionally large and neat her place was. Her condo was very modern looking with wooden floors, her leather furniture sat in the middle of her large living room, a large fireplace sat in the middle of one of her tall white walls, and she had a vaulted ceiling. Over her fireplace stood a black and white painting of a cottage in front of the ocean shown in all 4 seasons. Her kitchen was full of stainless steel appliances, with a large black wooden table in the center of her dining room. "You have a beautiful home Stephanie."

STEPHANIE "Thank you. If you couldn't tell I'm a very neat person. But I lack the creative eye of interior design so I do hire someone else to do all of my decorating for me."

Stephanie handed Nadia two wine glasses, and as Nadia began pouring the wine she couldn't help but steal glances of Stephanie as she scooped pasta onto their plates. Her strapless dress revealed the beginning of a toned back. Nadia's lips parted and her mouth began to water as she couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to lick Stephanie from the tip of her toes to the nape of her neck. She knew if she ever had the opportunity to be with Stephanie, she would surely take her sweet time enjoying every inch of her soft silky body.

The two woman ate dinner on Stephanie's deck admiring the view of the city while conversing about life and failed relationships. They sat side by side on a wooden bench covered with soft white cushions and stared out into the night while sipping the wine that Nadia had bought.
