"Gretchen," I asked suspiciously as we were getting ready to leave, "Did you buy this stuff for me a while ago?"
Gretchen laughed. "Let's just say I have a little foresight, and your Platinum Visa took care of the rest!"
Adonis-Lloyd pulled up in a Lexus. "This is my girlfriend Melissa, Adonis-Lloyd. "
The ride was weird. Rap music was blasting, and I was holding a little purse. What had happened to my safe masculine life?
The evening was truly a blur. I ended up having to slow dance with all these weird guys...apparently tall women are popular!
Why did I dance with all these guys? Well, it was sort of to make Gretchen jealous, because she was making out with Adonis-Lloyd most of the night...
But she wasn't jealous at all--she just congratulated me on meeting lots of hot guys!
I didn't know what to do. I'm a heterosexual, and have no interest in men, especially black gangsters!
At some point though, I guess I was drinking too much, and I kind of blacked out, and when I came awake again we'd left the club...
