I ended up not going home. I spent the night going back and forth to all three rooms to check on all of them. Several times during the night, they had to bring Carrie back and once they had to bring Donna back, but in the end all three lived.
I got to go in and see Stephanie a couple more times that night and each time I whispered my life's dream. Each time, Stephanie would squeeze my hand.
I spent as much time as I could at the hospital for the next week and then I was hit with a sledge hammer. Donna was being transferred to Switzerland, to set up her system in the European Division, and Stephanie was being transferred to a hospital there. I was heartbroken. By the time I heard and made it to the hospital, Stephanie and Donna were gone.
I just sat on the grass out front of the hospital until Dad drove up and honked. Still, I didn't move and Dad came over to sit beside me. He didn't say a word, he just sat with me. After a few minutes, I said, "Let's go home."

Foxterot7aabout 2 months agoFamily history brings clarity to the story. I like to understand why characters do the things they do. I am more interested in character development and logical plot development then simple sex. For example, I liked the mother's explaination about the difference between sex and mental attachment. 5 star rating.
DaktoRtoover 13 years agoAuthorIt's life, I guess. People come in to your life, they go out of your life. They live, they die. Good and Bad things happen. One writes from memories and so reality mingles with fantasy. That's the way I see his writing anyway.
MizTover 13 years agoWill thinks change now that William is in love. And yes, sometimes it takes almost loosing someone to realize you love them. It will be interesting to see where you go from here.
Hectorx1over 13 years agoThis charter had lot stuff happing and character accepting thing to easily. I remember the first charter how William spend hours coming to terms with how her mother behaves and now he just accept fucking his sister and grandma without hesitation. I guess for me it feel a bit rush this whole new family dynamics.
