"Our synchronization level is at five percent, by the way. Which is enough to allow you wear me into battle as armor. At twenty I will be able to augment your strength and capacity. Or I can act as an independent object, your choice."

I flipped my hand, looking at the front and back with a growing sense of wonder.

Kaysa poked her head through the doorway. "You asked for me Chance?"

With her appearance, I was suddenly reminded by my compromising positioning, unfortunately one hand was pinned by Eve while my other was encapsulated by a cold metal gauntlet. All that was left was an awkward twisting of my hips in an effort to preserve my modesty.
